There's a good chance that Trump will win in 2020, but it will be the ugliest, nastiest, slimiest, close to illegal e******n in recent history.
This is a man that is pathologically unable to accept defeat, and who will employ any and all means to win, regardless of moral or legal requirements. If he loses, I predict that the US Marshals will have to physically evict him from the White House, after incredible damage to the country through many executive orders and pardons.
These tactics will include (but not be limited to):
1.) The use of insults and name-calling on the national stage to demean and undermine his opponents.
2.) Efforts to interfere with both the delegate se******n process and the Democratic convention, so as to produce a candidate that will allow Trump to more easily win the general e******n.
3.) V**er suppression in many states, including refusing to register or allow certain people to v**e, and intimidating them from even showing up.
4.) Using gerrymandered districts to disproportionally skew the E*******l College, thus while losing the popular v**e, he wins the EC.
5.) Using the social media platforms, his campaign will spread f**e negative rumors and propaganda which will affect either v**er turnout or actual preferences.
6.) Per #4, external actors (such as Russia) will do much of the interference with massive BOT attacks and other cyber techniques.

It will be ugly, despicable, and d********g …maybe even demonic. It will make most American's skin crawl. It will go down in history as one of the most negative campaigns in history. Even many Republicans will cringe at the rhetoric and underhanded methods that we can expect.
I can only hope (with not much expectation) that at some point some of the hard-core supporters of Trump will hold their noses, shelve their tribal instincts and v**e him out of office along with all the other sycophants that have enabled him in the first term.
Maybe I'm looking at this with rose-colored glasses, and hold the insane hope that he won't win, but my stark reading of what's coming tends to turn that rose color in my glasses to dark gray.

I agree to a point. However, when this "new" government comes, it may very well demand loyalty to some things that, as a Christian, I cannot subscribe to, as a******n, assisted suicide, and justice turned upside down as it is these days-two tiers of what passes for justice-so, no I would have a hard time assimilating that kind of "change". I am still a capable person, and want to obey the laws, but when those laws conflict with what God says, then I cannot and will not obey. And that simply makes life hard. It has nothing to do with whether or not I am capable, it has everything to do with whether the government is that corrupt. when evil is touted as good, and good as evil, which we are coming to, I think, it is not a good place to be.

That when you saw him brag that he could shoot a man on Fifth Avenue and you wouldn't care, you chirped, "He sure knows me."
That when you heard him illustrate his own character by telling that cute story about the elderly guest bleeding on the floor at his country club, the story about how he turned his back and how it was all an imposition on him, you said, "That's cool!"
That when you saw him mock the disabled, you thought it was the funniest thing you ever saw.
That when you heard him brag that he doesn't read books, you said, "Well, who has time?"
That when the Central Park Five were compensated as innocent men convicted of a crime they didn't commit, and he angrily said that they should still be in prison, you said, "That makes sense."
That when you heard him tell his supporters to beat up protesters and that he would hire attorneys, you thought, "Yes!"
That when you heard him tell one rally to confiscate a man's coat before throwing him out into the freezing cold, you said, "What a great guy!"
That you have watched the parade of neo-N**is and w***e s*********ts with whom he curries favor, while refusing to condemn outright N**is, and you have said, "Thumbs up!"
That you hear him unable to talk to foreign dignitaries without insulting their countries and demanding that they praise his e*******l win, you said, "That's the way I want my President to be."
That you have watched him remove expertise from all layers of government in favor of people who make money off of eliminating protections in the industries they're supposed to be regulating and you have said, "What a genius!"
That you have heard him continue to profit from his businesses, in part by leveraging his position as President, to the point of overcharging the Secret Service for space in the properties he owns, and you have said, "That's smart!"
That you have heard him say that it was difficult to help Puerto Rico because it was the middle of water and you have said, "That makes sense."
That you have seen him start fights with every country from Canada to New Zealand while praising Russia and quote, "falling in love" with the dictator of North Korea, and you have said, "That's statesmanship!"
That Trump separated children from their families and put them in cages, managed to lose track of 1500 kids. has opened a tent city incarceration camp in the desert in Texas - he explains that they’re just “animals” - and you say, “well, ok then.”
That you have witnessed all the thousand and one other manifestations of corruption and low moral character and outright animalistic rudeness and contempt for you, the working American v**er, and you still show up grinning and wearing your MAGA hats and threatening to beat up anybody who says otherwise.
What you don't get, Trump supporters in 2019, is that succumbing to frustration and thinking of you as stupid may be wrong and unhelpful, but it's also...hear me...charitable.
Because if you're NOT stupid, we must turn to other explanations, and most of them are less flattering.

I know he's right! Every soldier in WWII wasn't Audie Murphy ( for those that don't know, look him up) but EVERY soldier had a part in the defeat of the Third Reich. The cooks, the medics, the nurses, the Red ball Express drivers, the sailors down in the bowels of the carriers and warships, wireless operators, and too many more to mention, both in the services and in support of the services. They were the worker ants of our society and still are today. They are the unnoticed, the unsung, the every day Joe that works to keep the big machine working.
One at a time, it doesn't seem like they do much, but add 150 million together and you get an amazing example of cooperation and a power to create and build ANYTHING that may be needed.
"They" are in the slow lane OK, but those in the fast lane pass them by in the vehicle that "they" built!

TRUMP GOT TRAPPED AGAIN 6 months ago Mexico sent 5,400 agents to there southern border. So Trump creates another crisis with his tariffs threat and Mexico now agrees to send 600 more agents. The Bluster now Trump tells his base our southern border problem fixed. No more problems, which is great now this country does not have to listen to the Trump bluster of the Trump Wall.

Just can’t imagine such a simple fix send 600 more agents to the Mexican southern border and all our illegal problems are fixed on the southern border.

Oh forgot by the way the Mexicans had agreed to send more agents to the southern border 6 months ago. What has that done nothing according to Trump when he created and fabricated that 100,000 i******s were crossing our border per month.

So he had to get his base under control again.

Oh by the way what happened to the great negotiator the right wing elected all he does is threaten the world economy because the rest of the world knows he’s an i***t.

Trump needed a way out of his fabricated crisis with tariffs he was about to loose in congress which would have stopped the tariffs on Mexico. So he got 600 additional troops and now our southern border problem is fixed.
