Apparently s***ery was the norm through out history, it was not an American procedure per se. 1) if you haven't found a direct lie told by the president then you aren't looking very hard. 2) people don't have to tell direct lies to be deceitful. You seem to be saying that because you haven't heard a direct lie from Trump that he is t***hful when in fact he is anything but. 3) the question I have for you--by what criteria do you use to confirm something? Because it agrees with how you think or because you have been able to objectively prove that something is true?

That you find ONLY mainstream media deceitful while Trump is t***hful tells me that you aren't objective in how you think so if you aren't objective then you are likely listening for rhetoric that agrees with how you think and it's those cues that you call 't***hful' whether you've done anything to prove them that way or not.

This is not a criticism by the way as most people look for rhetoric that agrees with their own and it's that rhetoric that they deem t***hful because they don't want to see themselves in a disparaging light. Objectivity is not a simple task and anytime your world falls into an either/or situation the one thing you know for certain is that you aren't being objective simply because nothing is ever either/or.
