Thank you for this post. I thought I was the only one who felt this way. What is needed in this country is a revolution.
It stands to reason the people of Crimea would prefer the Russian government to the Neo N**i government put in power by the US and the EU. With most of the new government positions filled with members of the Svoboda party which uses the wolf angel rune used by the Waffen SS (that was declared a criminal organization at Nuremberg) and the Right Sector which flies the f**g of the N**i collaborators the people of Crimea must be afraid for their lives. I would prefer Russia to this group of thugs. I am no Russian sympathizer but given the choice between these two, I'd take the Russians.
The v**e has been taken and the people have spoken. The rest of the world should respect the wishes of the people. Of course the US doesn't respect the wishes of its own people so why would they respect the wishes of the people of Crimea.
Why is America giving money and aid to Neo N**is? When will we learn regime change never works? Do we feel the Ukraine people can not choose for themselves? Allow the Ukraine people to v**e on which kind of government they want.
The EU has ruined Ireland, Greece, Spain and many other countries. They will ens***e the people with debts they can not pay and take all the natural resources in the bargain. But, if that is what the people want so be it.
If the people of the Ukraine want to be part of Russian, then that is their choice. The USA has once again gone into a country they obviously know nothing about the history of and created quite a mess. Just like Iraq, Libya, Egypt,
Viet Nam, Korea, and Venezuela.
We need to clean up own back yard before we tell other people how to live. The economy, lack of jobs, and lack of freedom in this country should be our top priority. We need to focus on taking our country back from the corporations and banks currently deciding our fate.
People who care for their own do not qualify for any assistance.
We pay for corp. welfare and welfare. I do not mind my taxes going to help people who are really in need. I do mind subsidizing corps and people who just ride the government gravy train.
I will register my guns when the murders, rapist, home invaders, and car jackers register theirs. If police come to my door, I'll ask where the search warrant is. Thank god I live in Georgia where these ridiculous laws are shot down in the state capital. Although, I understand Bloomberg is spending a fortune trying to get gun control passed in my state even though he has never lived here. Our governor does not fold to outside pressure. If he does he won't be governor after 2014.
I agree with another president, George Washington:
"A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government."
When my daughter put in an application with Walmart, she was told the wages would qualify her for food stamps and if she had children medicaid. Since my teen is a child herself, she does not have children and we take care of our own.
Capitalism works on the premise that you fail or succeed based upon your performance. When we give corp. welfare and bail out failed banks, we are no longer practicing Capitalism. When most of the employees of a major corp. receive food stamps and medicaid, I feel we are subsidizing that corp. with my tax dollars.
