I just got tired of reading thru all the previous pages so if someone else posted this please excuse me. Now...do all of you people who think it's in the bag for Hillary actually believe Joe Biden is going to play dead and let her waltz into the nomination? IMO Joe will do just the opposite and will have the Great Charlatan's backing, to boot. And if Bubba has a bunch of political chits he can call in for the old lady (she'll be 68 then) I'm sure ol' Joe has been accruing them, as well. I think it will be a real dogfight should she seek the nomination.

The whole objective of Obamacare is to make it so unaffordable that (if the Dems are still in power) they can claim the only way people can afford coverage will be for the gov't to step in and run all of medicine ala Europe, Canada, & Australia. That has been their objective all along. In other words...single payer, i.e., socialized medicine. For all the "hope nots" I hope not, but so far it all seems to be pointing down that road. In fact, Chas Shumer basically said that the other day...and, of course, we all know Bernie Sanders has been wanting it since Day One. I think he's probably going to get his wish.

Barack Obama must be wanting to follow in the foot steps of Joe Stalin, except that he hasn't k**led anyone yet. Ho, wait, a retired CIA agent just said that Obama ordered the k*****g of Andrew Brietbart. Lets see where that one goes?

This is brand new news t'me. Has Breitbart commented on it? I need more info before I comment...although I must confess I've always been a little suspicious of the death of the conservative (can't remember his name for the life of me) who had a stroke while jogging.

No, though sweet of you to be so kind. No, I am having brain surgery tomorrow so will be on hiatus. I actully do watch Fox news, and CNN, MSNBC, and all of the other news channels. They are also biased you have to hear them all to get to the story.

I don't really get your point with the insults though. Do you think it makes you look like a manly man to insult women? Or maybe you think your friends will think you are cool? Not sure, but it makes you look like a small man who h**es women. And that is usually done by men who feel the need to compensate for something. You won't earn my respect and you will never be able to get me to look at your side when I have to wade through insults to do it. It is people like you that scare people away from the right, and if you ever want to have a republican President ever again then you may want to think about that.
No, though sweet of you to be so kind. No, I am ha... (show quote)

We'll always have GOP Presidents b/c the people will always get tired of the Dems (and vice versa.) The old saw of "throw the bums out!" is never out of style.

In case some of you didn't know this...many of the 1930 & 40 B&W westerns from Republic and Monogram can be viewed on Netflix. Some are only available on disc so you have to up your subscription and get those in the mail. They also have some from 1950s and 60s that were on TV. They're kinda campy but still....

I rechecked my facts w/ Wikipedia. Seems McCoy was US Army, not USMC and attained the rank of Col while w/ the Army Air Forces in WW II.

[quote=Mr Shako]Jetson said "ole coots." That leaves a bunch of you guys out. So...my favorite was the Three Mesquiteers. Crash Corrigan, Max Terhune and some other guy (they rotated.) Did any of you know Tim McCoy was a Col in the USMC in France during WW I or that George "Gabby" Hayes played leading man/lover roles in the silent era?

Give me some more Johnny Mack Browns, Lash Larues, Durango Kids, Tex Ritters, Whot Gibsons, Especially Randolph Scotts and Joel McCraes. Maybe a few Eddie Deans, Tim Holts, Etc. Oh, don't forget the funny guys. Fuzzy St. John, Smiley O'Brian, C***ta and others. I guess my favorite has always been Randolph Scott. Sure wish he had more western. John Wayne made western way back in the thirtes, until his death. Looks to me like, Hollywood would make more good hour westerns, since the western encore network is so strong on cable. What do you all, ole coots think.

I do not have the Constitution memorized. Where is the section on how a State withdraws from the Union? I know there was a joke circulating around Vermont during our bicentennial in 1991 that the statehood agreement that Vermont accepted to join the USA included a clause that allowed reconsideration of the decision every 100 years.

Someone told me a few yrs back that when Texas was admitted, it reserved the right to break up into five states later on if it wished to. Does anyone have the real skinny on this?
