It may get to the point that all Americans obtain concealed carry permits. It would make people think about their actions and wonder if the person they intend to assault (whether rob, insult and threaten....) is carrying and if they will indeed just fill you full of holes. I now have a permit to protect myself and our new child. I would not hesitate in using it if she where in danger.

I would h**e to see our country turn into a self preservation society, but if the murders continue (whether by games of knock out, shooting people on the street, or breaking into a home) what are the other choices?

•Women in their 20's have the highest a******n rates. In 2010, women aged 20-24 had 27.4 a******ns for every one thousand 20-24 year-old women. Women aged 25-29 had 20.4 a******ns for every one thousand 25-29 year-old women (CDC).

•51% of U.S. women obtaining a******ns are younger than 25; women aged 20-24 obtain 33% of all U.S. a******ns, and teenagers obtain 18% (AGI).
•In 2009, adolescents under 15 years obtained .05% of all a******ns, but had the highest a******n ratio, 785 a******ns for every 1,000 live births (CDC).
•Black women are more than 4.8 times more likely than non-Hispanic white women to have an a******n, and Hispanic women are 2.7 times as likely (AGI).
•The a******n rate of non-metropolitan women is about half that of women who live in metropolitan counties (NAF).
•The a******n rate of women with Medicaid coverage is three times as high as that of other women (NAF).
•37% of women obtaining a******ns identify themselves as Protestant, and 28% identify themselves as Catholic (AGI).
•At current rates, nearly one-third of American women will have an a******n (AGI).

First of all the writer of this blog stated government statistics show but he conveniently ommitted what agency! To be fair what percentage of White babies are born out of wedlock? For the sake of argument lets say that 72% of Black kids are born out of wedlock out of 13% of the population! So Cool Breeze, the man was wrong on several accounts. Here is a question for you. What if really loud music makes you crazy? You do realize that there is data that shows some people are hypersensitive to noise. It can cause everything from sleeplessness to damage to the inner ear. And can cause insanity, either temporary or rubber room crazy for life crazy. Do you think that these nice young teenagers had a right to play their music so loud that it made contents inside of other cars vibrate?? They were asked to turn down the "music" (and I use that term loosely) and they responded by making it louder. I believe that everyone is entitled to listen to their brand of music, but should NEVER be heard outside the car or home. So, in your world, regardless of the actions, noise, beatings, robbery, verbal assaults, and such that a group of thugs do should just be tolerated if you are white? I think that there is not enough press about the consequences of really pissing other people off. Perhaps thugs will have some consideration and turn down the volume if they know that there are CONSEQUENCES.
