I think the obvious answer is that the oath of office means nothing to the majority of people we now have in Congress and their position relies on the non-citizen v**e. Naturally anything that mentions citizenship makes them very nervous. By allowing progressive ( socialist) indoctrination in our schools and colleges we have slept though the first major step in the loss of our country. I know a few alert parents that go to great expense to get kids into a school that is still functional, but those schools are rare.
