Bill Moyer is a highly respected journalist not a political hack. You can always recognize when a conservative is loosing the debate. When they run out of what think is ammo they, always resort to calling people names. That seems to be the only thing they are good at. The other thing they are good at is defining Liberals by the worst person they can think of and claiming that all liberals are the same. As usual they are wrong, about almost every thing all the time. Every historian with a PHD in history that I'm aware of is a liberal. Many of our greatest citizens were educated in public schools. Were it not for public schools I nor my siblings would have had any education. Private schools in the US are great if you can afford them. Conservatives belive that the should be allowed to with hold their tax dollars from public schools so they can spend their money on private schools for their kids. This would be akin to with holding your tax dollars on public highway's so you casn spend your money a private highway. So you should be free to send your kids to private schools all you want but you can't be allowed to withold support for highway's, water systems, police departments and other public services held in common.
