trump trial for removal from office. Not any kind of surprise..

The dance may last two more days, but the outcome was announced weeks ago when McConnell told the world and the v**ers he would stand as the white house directed him..

But we do still have the small power of the v**e and just as the orange base holds power over republicans who oppose trump and his cartel. We the American v**ers can put in true Americans who care more for country then the money directed by PACs for trump..

No matter the money spent, we can with our v**e change the downfall of America and once more be the shinning light on the hill. So often used by the impostors in power.

Moving to more relevant facts for the topic at hand, there are indeed undisputed facts in the impeachment inquiry.

For example, many witnesses testified that military aid and a White House meeting was conditioned on Ukraine investigating the Bidens, or at least announcing they will. This is also known as a quid pro quo. Since no fact witness disputed this in their testimony, it is undisputed.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg…

It is a fact that Trump asked Ukraine to investigate his political opponent, by name. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump asked China to investigate his political opponent, by name. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that the White House meeting Ukraine was desperately seeking never happened. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that congressionally appropriated military aid to Ukraine was frozen without congressional approval or notification. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that the aid wasn't unfrozen until after Congress announced an investigation. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Ukraine inquired about the aid multiple times, including the very same day as the infamous call. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that immediately after the July call between the two presidents, numerous people were concerned by what they heard and two of them independently reported it to the in-house lawyers. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump’s own National Security Advisor referred to the scheme as a “drug deal” and sent one of his subordinates to report it to the lawyer. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that the word “corruption” was never mentioned in any calls and doesn’t appear on any “transcripts” between Trump and Ukraine’s president, despite it being on the recommended talking points. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump directed Ukraine and several American diplomats to talk to his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who had spent months trying to get Ukraine to investigate the Bidens. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Giuliani told US diplomats that Ukraine needed to announce an investigation that could damage Biden in order to obtain the White House meeting the Ukrainians desperately wanted. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that more than one of those diplomats conveyed versions of this message to Ukrainian leaders. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that a statement Ukraine drafted promised to root out corruption, but was deemed unacceptable unless it specifically promised to do the two investigations that would politically benefit Trump. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump did not ask Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden in 2017 or 2018, or try to stop or delay aid to Ukraine in 2017 or 2018 for any reason, but did do so in 2019, after Biden announced he was running against Trump. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump’s Vice President was supposed to be part of the US delegation to the Ukrainian p**********l inauguration but did not attend. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Ukraine’s president was scheduled to appear on CNN and expected to announce the investigations Trump wanted, but canceled once the aid was released. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Russia carried out a systematic campaign of e******n i**********e in 2016, and Ukraine did not. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that the “Crowdstrike” theory Trump asked Ukraine to look into is a piece of Russian disinformation that U.S. intelligence has debunked. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that all of the fact witnesses that testified are either current or recent members of the Trump administration, and none are partisan Democrats. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump instructed all members of the Executive Branch not to testify or cooperate with the investigation in any way. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump directed government employees to defy all document requests, regardless of relevance or subpoenas. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that Trump publicly attacked numerous witnesses who complied with duly authorized subpoenas and testified to Congress, including those he has power over. That is undisputed.

It is a fact that one or more witnesses felt threatened and intimidated by Trump. That is undisputed.

There are certainly more, but the point is made. Facts aren’t disputed because Rep. Joe Blow says, “I hereby dispute that.” They’re disputed when Rep. Joe Blow gets a witness to say, “No, that’s not what happened.”

Republicans were either unwilling or unable to produce exculpatory witnesses and documents, or to elicit any testimony that contradicted these undisputed facts. That is what is meant by “the facts are undisputed.” No amount of process arguments or complaints about which committee is holding the hearings, or the temperature in the room, or the comfort of the chairs (all actual complaints) can undo the facts in evidence.

Edit: I was reminded of this disputed vs. undisputed question when a piece of breaking news hit my inbox:

A federal judge dismissed the claim that President Trump’s former national security adviser was entrapped into accepting a plea deal by the FBI and federal prosecutors, calling his lies to investigators about his interactions with Russian officials "undisputed."

In this case, the judge calls Flynn’s lies undisputed, even though the defendant and his legal team obviously disagree. A very similar situation.

And you support your representative.

I had heard about this video but never watched it before.. They had quite a time finding people who said what the producers wanted them to say.. however they did get the comments they wanted and this will live forever with those who h**e and fear Muslims and Somali...

If you are calling Omar my representative, she is not, I live far north of Minneapolis..

I do support her, although I am PO at her for now... but the only important fact is that she has great approval from her constituents..Who are far more mixed and white then Somali..

Only a small number of v**ers among them due to the over all age demographic of the Somali population in Minneapolis..

Nah, the sun is still too low in the sky for that. Nearly made it to 50 today with light winds. Rain, sleet, high wind, and snow yesterday morning. Be high 60's' low 70's this weekend. Then back to cold, wind, and snow Tuesday.
If you wanna see what c*****e c****e looks like, come to the Texas Panhandle. We can have all four seasons in the same day here.

Seem one of the biggest effects up here is the insect population. warm winter nights do not k**l them off, so ticks exploded and helped decimate the Moose population via disease..

With those "warm" winter nights only 10 below rather then 20 below we are basking???

Do you have ticks in Texas??? As everything in Texas is bigger, a Texas tick must be the size of a turkey..

Anyway, have a sunny day, we will see upper 30s on Sunday... it is all good

Hey Permi,

As I sit beside my burning tire on this gorgeous Texas evening pondering your post, I can't help but think that you don't understanda lot of people.

Most, if not all folks I know conserve energy as much as possible because they would rather not have to pay high bills. I am one of them.

Also, most, not all people I know care about a clean environment.
Fact is, some people just don't care. Some companies just don't care since profit is their goal. That's why we need government regulation on them to a certain extent. But....it can't all come from DC.
I really h**e the idea of a very few national politicians running my life. The locals are bad enough.

Lighten up on those of us who don't buy into the man made c*****e c****e thing. Hell, even Jesse Ventura doesn't buy it!

And I had a great day! 58 here, light to no wind, and people out everywhere. I broke the rules, and petted several dogs today while conversing with their owners, then got in trouble with mine when I got home.
After sniffing me up, and down, if the word whore was in their lexicon, they would have used it!
It was a great day to be a mailman!

I recently finished reading a biography on William the Conqueror. It was not only the Norman invasion that injected Viking Scandinavian blood into the British Isles. 2 or 3 centuries prior to that the Vikings had repeatedly conquered major parts of England.

The Tea Party joke was in response to your implying that taxes are not all that big of a deal. They can be a big frigging deal as evidenced by the fact that the American Revolution was in large part a reaction by the American Colonists to Oppressive English Taxes.

In fact human history is filled with conflicts and events fueled by high taxes. One of the more amusing events was the ride of Lady Godiva, which I suppose supports your view that high taxes always lead to good things.

Son,

I did not know that the vikes had moved in on part of England so early, All I knew was about trading villages and such..

Taxes.... no one likes them... the Boston tea party did have the add on of no representation.. which would be worst then usual..

Lady Godiva was real!!??? Honest, I though she was in some story.. Gosh, gotta tell the wife, I am not to old to learn new stuff..

Thanks.. Have a good night... I am always late now days..

Gee Archie, It is amazing how much you and I agree on and yet we are diametrically opposed.. gosh..

For instance, that I don't understand a lot of people... nothing could be truer..

And Yes, Jessie will forever be in my v****g history.. but he was not so bad, better then I remember until I look him up.. he sent the state surplus back to us who paid it.. and nice checks for several years 3 i think..

But it did make a bad time in the next few years after in addition to his idea, the GOP cut taxes and the FDL spent money on things that had been delayed for years and years..

But now, all that dumb stuff seems like the good old days..

While this is days late.. I get worse as I get more jaded..

Have a good evening and tomorrow will be brighter.. the weather man said so..

LOL,

What are you even talking about..

clearly you know not a darn thing.. and can not even get a comment on board..

What is it you think is a connection between Minnesota and Sharia Law??

Not even Arab states use it as a basis for law, only two of the 58 use it much at all SA and Iran..

It will never ever become part of American law..

Go back to sleep. Nothing to worry about..

While the Koch network has long been involved in school choice battles, the push by Libre represents a new front in the fight by targeting Hispanic families — and a recognition that with Congress gridlocked, it’s on the ground at the state level where the network can disrupt the educational status quo. The Koch message on schools is shared by Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, a longtime ally.

“Across the [Koch] network, there’s a greater commitment to advancing this because we do see it as critical to advancing a free and open society,” Libre’s Executive Director Jorge Lima told POLITICO.

The group has had some initial success — for instance, helping to thwart a moratorium on charter school expansion in New Mexico. But it’s also created bitter divisions in the Latino community and led to accusations the Kochs are trying to undermine public education — and even in some cases, to subvert the Democratic process.
