Very eye-opening.

Can any of them make a case for omnibus over individual spending bills?

Can any of them claim McCarthy has stuck to the terms of the deal that he agreed to in order to become Speaker?

Can any of them say it’s a total coincidence that the ethics complaint, long-shelved, popped back up now?

Can any of them justify pulling Ukraine funding in the CR, only to work a deal for continued aid in the shadows with Chuck Schumer?

These are some of the principal reasons why Kevin McCarthy is no longer speaker. He was elected in January, and had 9 months to do the tough work on the various appropriation bills. Failure in leadership has consequences.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes.

With all due respect, these phony RINOs who are not conservative had a chance to v**e on a CR that supported the military and border security while cutting the budget. They are the reason McCarthy had to strike another deal. These Republicans are enabling Schumer and the Democrat Party to keep spending in an unsustainable manner. You can't always get what you want, so you have to pick your battles wisely to win the war or you just might find you get what you need to survive. Gaetz will become a pariah, not a martyr. He already is because he has failed to show leadership and will continue to do so...pick your poison.

The legislative process is about representation through deliberation, not about clean, predictable outcomes. It gets messy, but this is why they’re there.

Pick your battles wisely if you want to win the war. Gaetz and those who v**ed with him are not putting the country first. They could have cut 30% and sent it to the senate to fight McConnell.

Do you think this will do it? It only gives the Marxist Democraps more leverage. The Republicans weren't giving more money to Ukraine. I wish everything was distinctly black and white. Gaetz is no conservative! They could have cut the federal budget by 30% across the board except for the military and border security.

"...how many of you would sit down and cut a deal with progressive Marxist Democrats in the House? They are economic socialists who reject everything we believe in and Rep Matt Gaetz v**ed with them. On Friday, Rep Byron Donalds put up a bill to cut 30% of all Federal agencies and it would have secured the border with mandates. There was a strategy developed between Conservatives in the House and the Senate. The plan was to get it passed in the House, then the Senate could use it to have leverage over Sen Mitch McConnell. But the bill was k**led by Gaetz, who v**ed with Democrats and the progressive caucus. Now the government is open for 45 days and nothing is cut and the spending continues. President Biden, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, and Hakeem Jeffries got their way because they ran circles around Gaetz." -Mark Levin

I don't think Gaetz has ever played chess, nor understand how to even play checkers. The acting speaker will be Patrick McHenry.

The GOP-led House on Tuesday v**ed in favor of removing Republican Congressman Kevin McCarthy as House speaker, marking the first time in U.S. history the leader of the chamber has been removed in such a process.

The unofficial v**e tally was 216-210.

"The office of speaker of the House of the United States House of Representatives is hereby declared vacant," Arkansas GOP Rep. Steve Womack, who was presiding over the proceedings, said after the v**e.

The effort to oust McCarthy was led by Florida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz, who on Monday night filed procedural paperwork known as a "Motion to Vacate."

Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) is now serving as speaker pro tempore.

McCarthy, a California Republican, early Tuesday morning allow the v**e, considerably before the two-day deadline.

The motion to vacate is an up or down v**e of yea, nay or present.

All Democrats v**ed in favor of removing McCarthy along with seven conservative Republicans.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.), regarded as a moderate Republican from a purple district, also v**ed to remove.

Former Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was among those who did not v**e.

Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) made the motion to table the effort but it failed.

Gaetz argued his case from the Democratic side of the House floor. He said he tried to speak from a podium on the other side of the chamber but wasn't able to do so ahead of the debate.

"I think this represents the ripping off of the Band-Aid. That's what we need to do right now," Gaetz said afterward, arguing the dysfunction of the House has been going on before McCarthy became speaker in January.

On the House floor, during a roughly 30-minute debate before the v**e, Gaetz said McCarthy did not follow through on putting up 12 "single subject" appropriations bills on the floor for v**es.

He argued that the way to curb wasteful spending and get the debt under control was to pass 12 separate bills funding federal departments. Gaetz hasn't said who he supports for speaker instead of McCarthy.

Other Republicans supporting McCarthy said the 45-day continuing resolution that passed over the weekend to avoid a shutdown gives the House time to pass the rest of the appropriations bills. They also noted that the Democrats currently run the Senate and the White House.

Ahead of the v**e, conservatives Rep. Chip Roy (R-Tex.) said he planned to v**e against the motion to vacate the chair. Conservative Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) wrote on X that he would v**e in favor of the motion.

Former President Trump weighed in on the drama that was unfolded on the House floor.

"Why is it that Republicans are always fighting among themselves, why aren’t they fighting the Radical Left Democrats who are destroying our Country?" Trump wrote Tuesday on T***h Social with the v****g underway.

Because Democrats are Marxists who unite behind their leader because they can't think for themselves. Republicans, on the other hand, favor smaller, less government and are not interested in wielding absolute power.
However, they'll need to pick someone.

Donald Trump appeared in court today, but it wasn’t a legal proceeding. It was a grotesque parody of the system our ancestors created. Victor Davis Hanson explains.

Hoover Institution fellow Victor Davis Hanson discusses the left's assaults on former President Trump and what ultimately, they are trying to achieve...the destruction of the Unites States. Hanson notes we are in the middle of a cultural, economic, and political revolution, but there are many more patriots who love this country and if we can make sure our e******ns are fair and accurate then the people who love the US can stop the madness.

READ IN APP

if Donald Trump manages to worm his unpleasant way back into office, he has no plans to leave — ever. Trump will remain in power until the day he dies, and then his hand-picked successor will replace him.

this isn’t some paranoid left-wing fantasy.

right now, Republicans are working to make this happen — and they’re not even bothering to keep it a secret. they’re bragging about it. they’ve published their plan. it has a name: the 2025 Project.

their scheme is to purge the entire government rank and file and replace them with Trump loyalists. that’s right, everybody — from the highest levels of the federal government all the way down to your local dogcatcher. and they’re not waiting until 2025 — they’ve already started recruiting foot-soldiers.

once everything is in place, we’ll stop having stupid little things like e******ns, or freedom, or democracy.

read the whole thing. it will scare the living fuck out of you.

are you hearing anything about the 2025 Project from our corporate-controlled media? no, you are not.

Upgrade to paid

Ron Filipkowski has compiled a list of “27 insane things Trump said he will do in a second term.”

“insane” is an understatement. “totally bats**t fucking nuts” is more like it. here’s a sampling:

10. Require that schools hold e******ns each year where principals will be elected by parents who will choose whoever they want to run the school each year. 6/30/23

11. Any person convicted of selling drugs will get the death penalty. 11/15/22

12. Pardon convicted J6 inmates convicted of s*******s conspiracy and assaulting police officers, with an apology from the US government. 9/1/22

13. Have DOJ investigate Comcast, NBC and MSNBC for treason and remove them from the public airwaves. 9/24/23

the whole thing is a laundry list of half-baked ideas, blatant violations of our constitution, f**grant abuses of power, and authoritarian score-settling.

are you hearing about any of this from our corporate-controlled media? no, you are not.

Trump’s brain is rotting. he’s completely losing his grip on reality. at his h**e-fests, he can barely construct a sentence. he loses his train of thought. he meanders. he stumbles over common words. and he confuses facts and events.

here’s Trump yesterday, giving a speech in South Carolina.

“we came down here. you know, the beauty was when I came here. everyone thought Bush was going to win. and then they took a poll and found out Trump was up by about 50 points. everyone said, ‘what's going on right here?’ they thought Bush, because Bush supposedly was a military person. great. you know what he was? he got us into the... he got us into the Middle East. how did that work out, right? but they all thought that Bush might win. Jeb, remember Jeb?”

yes, indeed. remember that great military leader Jeb Bush, who led us to war in the Middle East? apparently, Trump does.

Trump can’t get through a sentence without fucking up.

last week, Trump made the bizarre claim that v**er ID was required to buy a loaf of bread.

in another recent speech, Trump claimed that his 2016 opponent was Barack Obama, and then warned that Biden was leading us into “world war two.”

are you hearing about any of this from our corporate-controlled media?

say it with me: no, you are not.

I h**e to sound like a broken record (what’s a “record,” grandpa?), but where the fuck is the media?

holy s**t, ladies and gentlemen of the press, you should be running around with your hair on fire. Donald Trump is promising to shut you down and throw you in prison, and the Republican Party is working overtime to remove any constitutional barriers that would prevent him from doing so.

we’re six years into this bulls**t, and you’re still treating Donald Trump like a conventional politician, and Republicans as if they were good-faith partners in democracy.

Exactly!!!!!!
