Coos Bay sort of made me think about this, recently several people I know have been making comments about how nasty people are starting to be part of out lives. We are constantly seeing incidents where people are just plain nasty and h**eful to other people.

That was not how it used to be, maybe people who were thinking about someone they see thought bad thoughts, but they never came right out and started saying nasty things to mexicans or muslims or wh**ever.

Nasty cantankerous curmudgeons talked smack around friends, but at least they kept their nasty comments to themselves...now people are saying wh**ever comes to mind without any regard for people's feelings, and it is what is wrong with this country.

I guess Florida is the only state without gay people in it. Let’s not teach these kids in school and throw out 1100 books that have the word gay. Wow my grandchildren have phones they can look up anything within minutes. So let’s not teach these kids.

So Florida board of education expanded the don’t say gay law banning classroom instructions on g****r identity or sexual orientation to all grades. So all public school students will be banned from learning about gay and sexual orientation. Unless required by existing state standards or as part of reproductive health instructions which students can opt out of.

Teachers around Florida were asked many questions about the new law and they all said I really don’t have time to teach your children to be gay. I have just enough time to teach history mathematics, English there is no time to teach him or her to be gay.

How come DeSsntis didn’t ban phones. Wow the ignorance runs rampant in the mind of DeSantis. But like Texas Floridians are ignorant r****t.
So ban books Ron Hitler burn those books. This kids have no idea what gay is because there not gay. You can’t teach gay you are unfortunate to be born gay.

But I do understand why Florida and many southern states what to eliminate black history. I think I would want to hide the fact that my ancestors were savages. H*****g, whipping, castrating, beating, raping black people that were working for nothing. That would not make sense to these kids today.

But the southern ignorance continues because Trump being convicted of sexual assault that's no big deal who cares.

I am not a fan of Jewel but have nothing against her. I find her music pedestrian, cross genre and overly sentimental. Top 40 mundanity aimed at a market of people similar to Indi car fans. The term middlebrow describes them perfectly. They are not the toothless inbred peckerwoods drawn to the hillbilly merry go round referred to as NASCAR but for the most part are not academics. Her rendition of the anthem was as adequate as the rest of her music, not noteworthy but by no means disrespectful. Anyone offended by it is a typical snowflake right wing nutter not worthy to breath the air in our great nation. Without doubt the best performance of our anthem was performed by Jimi Hendrix.
