Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard, my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog.

During our friendly conversation, I asked their little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?" She replied... "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people." Her parents beamed with p***e!

"Wow...what a worthy goal!" I said. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that!" I told her. "What do you mean?" she replied. So I told her, "You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I'll pay you $50. Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out and give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house."

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?" I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party." Her parents aren't speaking to me anymore.

Excellent! She was a fast recruit, it is too bad that adults can not see what this child could easily see.

You seem very good at taking your own advice. At least you're not a hypocrite.

I may be very emotional when it comes to 911. I was on Columbia Pike that day, on my way to brief the JCS at the Pentagon. I helped pull people out of the Pentagon, charred flesh, screaming and dying people. I also had to brief at the WH on INFOSEC. I met President Bush several times. I also met Obama. President Bush was approachable, he would take the time to ask questions and he listened to advisors. Obama was dismissive, rude, and arrogant. So, perhaps I am biased, perhaps my impression of a man who was not only concerned that our Nation was going to be hit again, but was searching for ways to protect the citizens of a country he loves very much! So, I apologize for my overly emotional responses to you and others. All I can say, you were not there and you do not know!

Your foul mouth is NOT appreciated. I have no problems with reporting this type of language. You are new here, so I will cut you a spout this one time. Again, welcome to OPP. It is such a pity that you have gotten off to such a bad start! There is much for you to learn about posting. I recommend that you read the rules and pay attention to the how to section on the help menu.

Yeah, that's right, Bush shouldn't have been in that class room, wondering how to leave without scaring the children.

He should have done, what Obama does.............................go play golf!

Thank you. All these people with their harsh words about President Bush were part of the American Citizens who were in approval of his job performance. On 9/10 his ratings was only 86 on 9/12 his rating was 90 percent! http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob1.htm
Now they sit with their noses high in the air, they complain that he did not do the what most Democrats do.... go campaigning or golfing during crisis. I think that their motto should be changed to "WHEN IN TROUBLE, WHEN IN DOUBT RUN IN CIRCLES; SCREAM AND SHOUT, SHOULD THAT FAIL, BLAME SOMEONE ELSE!!!!" Who among these low life's would have been able to handle the stress without taking to a shrink's couch and taking massive amounts of drugs?

The Democrats who v**ed to go to war were cowards. They were too afraid of any e******n backlash for having the morality to stand their ground. Only one Senator, Paul Wellstone D-Minnesota, was brave enough to oppose this senseless war. He was threatened by Dick Cheney and died a few weeks later in an extremely suspicious plane crash. Google: Paul Wellstone, Cheney, plane crash.

I am assuming you have been following my post or discussions? You broad assumption was in an essence sarcasm by the suggestion of was bush suppose to be in the building could have he prevented it by what his staff has previously warned him about a few times? Do you think it was hot enough? What are you suggesting that the president's are just a figure head and basically just sit there and agrees with what his cabinet tells him to say think read wear...are you suggesting he is a puppet ..perhaps hard of hearing...levels of danger...the degree of hatred when they shout it out loud via communications that are being related...I am fairly positive that the taps were sharp n clear...I will say they are terrorist making terrorist threats and will make good on them...but who's to say? I remember something about a intern and Cheney...It's a good thing to have factual base documents, evidence for researching wh**ever the reason...just as a consumer who wants to be guided off in the wrong direction? No one in their sound mind...misleading, false, construed or put a 'spin' on the issue is not a good practice especially for e******n years its confusing enough...the media doesn't have to spin it like so but they like it like that ...it appears..
example: if your neighbor went out at night and burglarized houses while most people are asleep by midnight this neighbor sneeks away to do wh**ever their hearts desire...you don't know they live a second type lifestyle that involves that type of crime...You are a good neighbor ...you think...but the neighbor who has criminal issue doesn't really see you as good more like gullable and he is putting some of his stolen treasure stashed away in the big ole house you have..lots of room lots of space lots of hiding spots inside and out. When you learn of what has happened you are upset...did you give them a key to enter your home or he is just a career criminal that can easily access entrance...oh I could make different scenarios for different situations all day long but you get jest of it...I could go on and on with different stories but I do have things to take car of like 'hmmm I might need to fill that script today' or I finally found a vehicle real similar to what I helped purchase but I no longer have possession of...AH possession a good subject...possession .09 of the law. I took it change title its mine! works here...disagree...give case president

You may think they are bad but is that because they support the party that supports the worker?

I know that you are old, so perhaps your nurse can read you a book. “Day of Deceit: The T***h about FDR and Pearl Harbor” by Robert B. Stinnett, there can be no denying the awful t***h that FDR not only knew the Japanese were going to attack, but official documents prove FDR wanted them to strike America first.

Yes, President George Bush could have excused himself and gone on to take care of the crisis. Much like Obama could have attended to B******i instead of going campaigning.

We can play this stupid game of your pot is blacker than my sk**let all day. But, you are going to have to play with your imbecilic moron buddies because I do not wish to be rude and condescending.
