May I please ask you to use the quote reply button so we know to whom you are addressing. Also, if you would, do not use all caps. When you use all caps, it is as though you are yelling at people and for people that are visually impaired, it is difficult to read. Thank you

Thank you. I agree with you, in particular about President Bush. He made mistakes and perhaps he was incompetent. I would try to defend him, but the t***h is the t***h and no matter how much I liked him as a person, the fact is he made mistakes.

I will look for that video, but like you I will not spend too much time. Why, because there will always be people that want to argue and get the last word. In the end, people like Brian will not believe....even had he been at the scene, he would still choose to believe that there were no terrorist, that America staged the attack on ourselves.

Homestead wrote:
There was a video that was put out after 9/11 by one of the original designers of the twin towers. He got tired of all the nonsense and took on the conspiracy theories head on. His video also included debunking the claim that an air plane did not hit the pentagon, because there was no plane wreckage and it was the wrong kind of damage for an air plane to make.

That one was interesting, because the pictures the conspiracy theorists used to claim that there was no plane wreckage at the building, had plane wreck in the background of their own pictures.

How thick can you get.

I looked for the video, I haven't found it yet, but, it is out there.

The only thing George Bush is guilty of in the case of 9/11 is, incompetence.
We had CIA agents that were fighting to get Bush to realize that Bin Laden was a real and immediate threat. But, that would have made Bush have to do something different and admit that what he was doing wasn't working.

At the same time other CIA agents claimed he was just another terrorist which meant that Bush could just keep doing everything the same way he was doing them.

The CIA agents pushing for going after Ben Laden were laid off.
The ones that said he was no problem were promoted.

When 9/11 happened the people in charge, refuse to admit that they were wrong.
The only conspiracy is that the people who were wrong hid from the fact that they were wrong and refused to except their mistakes.

What should have happened is that those that were wrong should have been fired and the ones that were right should have been hired back and promoted.
That didn't happen because the ones doing the hiring and firing were the ones that were wrong and they weren’t about to fire themselves.

Incompetence is incompetence, not a conspiracy.

When Nixon was caught bugging Watergate, he said he would except the responsibility, but, not the blame.......................why?

Because, people who are responsible, do not lose their jobs.
People who are to blame do!

The videos that give the scientific explanations on how the Towers fell are out there. There going to be hard to find now, because of the amount of ridiculous nonsense that’s now out there, but, they are there.

I'm not going to spend much more time on this. If I do find the video, I will post it. If you find it first, I'd appreciate it if you'd post it and I'll file it away.

When we got back, our doctor checked me over....took blood and samples; same with my lovely nieces went with me. We checked out healthy. My nieces are not feeling badly, so it may be that I am just emotionally drained. We lost a member of the family this fall, I moved back to Virginia, then I adopted Nancy, then over 7 weeks traveling with my nieces and while traveling I lost some weight which was not intentional because I was thin to start with..... I guess that could do it. So, I slept in and I feel much better today. Again, thank you for being concerned.

Your very welcome. So many intestinal bugs are picked up. My friend caught cryptosparidium a horrible intestinal parasite. He felt sluggish also. Make sure you tell him of the adventures. He may want to do a "sample" just to make sure you didn't pick up something in the food. My friend Armageden has only words of Genius. Etc. When he talks of your help so we'd all miss you if you were gone.

You are the sweetest person, thank you. As I said, I was traveling this winter and went to Africa. I ate the local fruit and there may have been a larva that I did not get washed away. I am sure I will be right as rain before long. Thank you for your concern. It really touches my heart!

What was wrong with her? I am so glad she is better, but it sounds serious.... I may have picked up something from my trip this winter. I am not one to complain, but I just feel tired and grumpy.

Probably. I feel fine otherwise. I plan to sleep in tomorrow... open the windows so it is 9 below zero, and pull the feather comforter up and sleep like a baby.

Thank you for the words of encouragement!

As a fringe benefit it allowed the U.S. to occupy Cuba and the Phillipines for decades. After the Spanish American War, we ruled Cuba through dictatorial puppets, up through Batista in 1959.

Its hardly surprising that a Hearst publication would be behind "Debunking 9/11". They have been in the "yellow journalism" and "false f**g" business for over a century.

Gee you are right, "weather firearms" could be hazardous to ones health. Would that be firearms that a hurricane strength, or perhaps deluge, maybe a nor-eastern. LOL. In my opinion, the counseling on the use, storage, and safety of firearms should remain with the police department, military, and range managers. Unless a doctor is very knowledgeable about firearms that they can adequately supply their patients with the best counseling. My doctor probably could, but he is a country doctor. I think that city doctors are lucky to know the difference between a handgun and a rifle.

Gathering in depth accurate statistics on firearm injurys and deaths by itself is in no way wrong. The information is just that, information and it will give a clear picture of weather firearms have a health impact positive or negative on those having them in their households. Secondly for a Doctor to make patients aware of the statistical risks associated with improper firearm storage is no different than counseling patients on dangers of an unfenced pool, common poisons, or the health effects of secondhand smoke. My Doctor is in the business of keeping me healthy and safe if he advises me to quit smoking, loose weight or avoid riding my motorcycle without a helmet I can take or leave his advice the same is true for advice about sleeping with a loaded 45 under my pillow.

True, he would have insisted that Nancy could have other things, if milk was not available. But, she loves cereal....and she is my only child at home. Abe was also complaining about no milk. So, I went to get the milk and fresh berries to put on top.

Winds have not been too bad here, I think the strongest gusts were around 20 maybe. But, it is cold outside!

And if people are smart, and at times I have doubts, they will look at Whitehouse.gov and look at his v****g record. But, yes they will be trying everything possible to survive.

Republicans, who are widely expected to retain control of the U.S. House of Representatives, need a net gain of six seats to take back the 100-member Senate. Recent polling indicates they have big leads in three states - Montana, South Dakota and West Virginia - where longtime Democratic senators have retired or will retire in January.

Although the primary season is just starting and the candidates in many races are not set, polls suggest Republicans have boosted their odds of gaining additional Senate seats by becoming competitive in politically divided states such as Michigan and Colorado, where a year ago they were given little chance of winning.

Democrats have begun to sweat the 2014 midterm e******ns because of the Obamacare disaster—especially on the heels of Republican David Jolly’s defeat of Democrat Alex Sink in a special e******n for Florida’s 13th District Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Democratic West Virginia Congressman Nick Rahall gave us a taste of what Americans can probably expect to hear a great deal of from Democrats in the coming months.

“I probably have supported George Bush more than I have Barack Obama,” Rahall said.

Rahall, first elected in 1976, faces the tough situation that many vulnerable Democrats share: He’s seeking ree******n in a State where President Barack Obama’s already present unpopularity has been greatly amplified by the Administration’s policies since the 2012 e******n. Democrats who aggressively went to stump for the President are the biggest GOP targets.

In an ironic 2014 twist, Rahall has taken a blame-Obama stance to explain away the challenges he faces, as opposed to the blame-Bush shtick that Democrats have used for so many years.

“There’s no question my critics try to blame Obama-Rahall for everything,” Rahall told The Hill. “I mean, the snow blitz that’s coming tonight is probably Obama-Rahall’s fault. And they won’t have that to do two years from now, so it’s obvious they’re leaving no stone unturned to defeat me this time. Because it’s the last time they’ll have Obama around! It’s that simple.”

Rumitoid,

What is that name and date of the documentary film that offers rational scientific reasons for the collapse-into-its-own footprint implosion of World Trade Center Building 7???

Rumi may not get back to you with a link, but this has bothered me all day. I found a reason the building came down, http://www.debunking911.com/pull.htm
and
http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/?p=7075

I do not know if these tell everything because I was not there. The documentary aired on PBS in Oct 2006, perhaps you can find it at the library. It was interesting. I remember some of it, but to be honest when it came on I was working 60 or more hours a week so I was probably multi tasking while it was on. I hope that this information helps. If not, at least I feel better that I could provide you with a reasonable explanation. Also, remember that I am a computer engineer and not a construction specialist. I again watched the conspiracy theories on UTube, but they were not very informative, just repeated each other. And I watched the one from Netflix again. I am still not sure what happened.
