Firstly, I would encourage everyone to do just a little bit of research on this topic if they're uninformed about the basic history of the formation of Israel before commenting. Here is a good link that I used to educate myself today:

I'm coming into this fresh, althought I did support the Palestinian side in the past. I didn't really hold any opinions on this conflict before doing research. However, the more I do research the more I find myself supporting Israel now.
I noticed something very interesting regarding the First Israel-Arab war. Egypt had conquered the Gaza Strip, but refused to absorb it into it's own borders. Not only that, but they also refused to take refugees trying to escape "persecution" from Israel. Egypt was fighting on the behalf of their Arab brethren, trying to preserve Palestine - why on earth wouldn't they help their own and absorb the Gaza Strip, and save their people from the "imminent death" that they're purportedly facing?
T***h is, seems like the Gaza strip is doing amazing work for the Muslim Brotherhood. The people there refuse to accept peace, continuously orchestrating terrorist attacks on the Israeli people which draws return fire. After orchestrating the attack, they then hide in civilian buildings, which then attracts fire to those buildings, which in turn attracts media attention to "show the world how horrible Israel is".
While Israel contributes to science, medicine, technological advancement, and engineering. They literally help progress the world forward. While the other side is constantly engaging in power plays, betraying each other, k*****g each other, and contributing to the world in the literal opposite sense to Israel.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Palestinians are free to become Israelis. They don't even have to relinquish their religion or culture. They just have to stop hating Jews and the Israeli state - and stop committing terrorism-level crimes. I can be wrong here, and am open to being educated on this topic. As far as I know most Palestinians have already been granted Israeli citizenship and are basically happily living on in a far more productive, well-built country.
I realize that I'm still new to this topic and cannot claim that my opinion is fully correct, however, after doing my research, like I said, I find my resolve strengthening.
Looking forward to what ya'll have to say.

Congratulations for such polite commentary. Rare on here, but welcome.
I believe there are about 20% of the Israel population as Arab and Muslim. They are Israeli citizens. But I believe there is a sort of second class citizenship. They couldn't become premier for example. They do have their own party and couldn't rule through that.
Being from Gaza or the West Bank doesn't mean you can emigrate to Israel and become a citizen. But Jews from anywhere in the world can emigrate.
The Jews don't want a single country in the area because the Arabs/Palestinians would soon outnumber them due to their higher birth rate, and take over the Country.
I personally believe in a two state system with the Jews in settlements becoming part of Palestine. Jerusalem being divided between the two countries sort of straight up and down from the central part of the old city and it being the capital of each side. I believe that the old city with its so called holy places becoming a separate self ruled city/state, with internal borders along the lines of about 1900 divisions between two Christian areas and a Muslim area and a Jewish area and population density limited to what was in 1900 and all this achieved in 10 years. There are more details, but they would rule over the holy places and not the Jews or the Muslims, but the residents of that old city. There are many more things to this plan, but that is the start of the idea.
Hope that helps.
