I've never seen so much misinformation. Southern democrats were right wingers who v**ed for republicans in national e******ns. They became republicans after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act into law.

Lucky you. Columbia is a beautiful place with many nice people. I went there often years ago when Stan's was located on 31, before I 65 was completed. I usually stopped by Early's Sausage and chatted with Mr. Early. Sometimes on a nice day I drove home on even more scenic route through Mt Pleasant, Howenwald and Leiper's Fork. I still live in Nashville but I haven't been to Columbia in years.

Some of your facts are wrong:
1. The mass murderer in Maine was never committed to an institution in New York or anywhere else.
2. He purchased his guns legally.
3. Thoughts and prayers have never brought a shooting victim back to life and they don't seem to be working very well at preventing more school shootings.
4. When the 2nd Amendment was written there were no mass murders by individuals because the shooter would have been apprehended before he could load his second round. Times change, which is why the Constitution has amendments. Perhaps someday the 2nd Amendment will be amended.

Airforceone is not a wingnut nor is he all alone. He makes good points that make sense to most Americans.
