I've considered going to Canada many times, and not just because of a political reason. The US I grew up knowing is gone.....and I fear it will never return, as the public is too "into" blaming parties and aligning with a party rather than giving allegiance to the country...along with religion demanding a place the founding fathers NEVER intended.

Canada? Well, the people up there are different. The religious idiocy doesn't exist, and the political scene is different........and no matter what anyone says, the medical system works....because I've seen it work for my friends....repeatedly. Where I would choose to go is isolated....and peaceful.

I've also considered Australia. Both countries offer something this in the last 50 years has virtually disappeared in the US......OPEN SPACES.

Our ranch was 187 sections (187 square miles) in New Mexico. When the guys were on the other side of the ranch, the NEAREST human to me was 11 miles away to the east....and 30 miles to the west and north...and 40 to the south. I loved it. But, it exists no more. LOL The nearest casino, and all that goes with it...with open roads, uncontrolled public, and B*M land, is 28 miles from the house.

And as far as the political scene in any country, that really doesn't matter to me. As far as leaving the US, Perry would just the straw that broke the camel's back.......I'm tired of the stupidity.

And....I MAY just travel....wherever I choose to go. It's warm in Majorca, I hear, in the winter........and Alaska would be nice in the summer...or even Iceland, except for the volcanoes.....the world is something I've never seen. But, I can......unfettered by boundaries.....opinions....political infighting.....or anything else. It's time to enjoy life......but I'd h**e to see Perry copy some of his "successes" on the US.....doin' it to Texas was enough!

You are willing to let Perry be governor over you but not president over you. That doesn't make a lot of sense. If you will move out of a country presided over by Perry, why haven't you moved out of the state presided over by Perry. It is much easier to move from state to state than from country to country, so since you haven't moved to a different state, I don't believe you when you say you will move to a different country. Besides, do you know who the top guy in Canada is, and if not, how do you know you are willing to live in a country governed by him?

For years, there have been people who are ashamed of what they are. Instead of changing what they are many of them decide to call themselves by a different description. I will name only three examples:

Brain dead liberal, socialistic left wingers have decided to call themselves progressives even though there is no progress to be acheived through their agenda, only ruin for the USA.

Criminals in prisons have decided to call themselves inmates. People who have been commited to mental hospitals are inmates. Criminals in prison are prisoners.

Homosexuals have decided to call themselves gay. Q***r perverts are not happy, festive, laughing, singing happy people. That's what gay means. And q***r is certainly a more apt description of homosexials than gay is.

I understand why people who are ashamed of themselves don't want to be called what they are. What I don't understand is why otherwise intelligent, sensible people fall all over themselves pandering to these people and revising the English langiage to cater to them.

I cannot bring myself to call socialists "progressive" or to call prisoners "inmates" or to call q***rs "gay".

Lol, it does seem that certain facts do have that tendency at least here at opp. I am sometimes amazed and disappointed that so many fail to do even a little research and just accept things like that paranoid video at face value. Confirmation bias at its very best.

But as a child and well into my twenties I was the quiet good little boy strictly trained in please and thank you and otherwise remain silent. And maybe that explains the stick and the hornet's nest.

That the facts I presented are undeniable, I am curious if anyone from the Gun club will respond. If I were a betting man I would say....

We survived 1963-1980. If we can handle LBJ, Nixon, Ford and Carter, one after the other, we can handle 8 years of Obama. The coalition of ignorance and arrogance that has kept the Comrade-in-Chief in office for two terms is unraveling. Obamabots are being deprogrammed, finally realizing they are cutting their own throats by supporting the likes of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi. The Democrats will lose the Senate, probably this year, definitely in 2016. The pendulum will swing back. The youth v**e that lifted Obama in 2 e******ns has realized the consequences of their naivete'. This may not carry over to the White House, but there will be a very different congress.
