As I recall without digging out my notes, American has only not been engages in a war 22 years since our nations existence.

Just when you don't think our sad excuse for a president can get any dumber... Now he's telling the NFL to fire all the players who join in protest during the playing of the National Anthem. The uplifting reaction from the NFL is truly inspirational as entire teams... players, coaches and owners join in defying the SOB.

Never before has a president divided himself from national sports like this. In any given country, political leadership has always sought a sense of solidarity with their people through national sports, the U.S. being no exception. This is why national champions traditionally get invited to the White House. But not this time... Donny has already uninvited the NBA Champions because Steph Curry replied "No thanks". Had Donny just accepted that, the disconnect would have all been on Curry, but instead the doofus acted like a child and he actually uninvited the entire team.

And now, he's telling the NFL to fire any player who takes a knee or shows any sign of protest during the anthem. Did someone forget to teach the i***t that in America people have a constitutional right to express their discontent? And not just in private letters or quiet conversations but openly in public spaces, which is where civil protest is most effective. The playing of the National Anthem right before kick off is in fact the most appropriate place for athletes to voice their stance and taking a knee, or linking arms is the most respectful way of doing it. It's non-violent and it's non-obstructive and when the anthem is finished, they get back to their jobs.

Also, someone needs to teach Donny John that the NFL is a private organization and as such he has ZERO authority over it. None of the national leagues are under his command. Someone PLEASE let him know because he obviously thinks otherwise. The POTUS commands the Executive Branch of the Federal Government... That's it. He is not MY boss and unless you work for the federal government he isn't yours either. In fact he is technically a public servant. The only thing that makes a president look bigger than this is the respect the American people have for the office. But when a fat clown like Donny John makes it impossible to respect him, we are left with an unruly fat-ass that can be technically described as our b***h.

That being said... I'm going to wrap this up on a positive note... I salute the NFL and their remarkable composure during this bizarre spectacle in national politics. I will be attending several games this year and I will be joining them in exercising my 1st Amendment right by sitting out the National Anthem. I will do it quietly and respectfully, simply to show my solidarity with those who stand up to racial profiling and police brutality. But I will also be looking at the f**g and inside my heart will be singing because THIS ability to express myself is one of the things that truly makes America great.

I don't have anything against Patriotism. I am proud to live in a free country. I hope 😊 that using the American F**g to destroy the 2 minutes of Love for this country by ignoring it's existance does not send a message of hatred, that these i***ts have been trying to achieve ever since president Obama was elected 9 years ago.
Obama said he would fundamentally change the culture of America and damned if he was not successful with his mandate to do so.
So what's next?
Well, Obama also said "The sweetest sound he ever heard was the call to prayer for Allah".
Admittedly, I am not the best Christian who lives in this great country, but I do not want to change GODS at this time of testing our faith in humanity.
If putting my love for this country in the hands of a football player, then we have already lost all hope of making America Great!
So what will the NFL rule book tell us to do now? It is funny that they will determine our fate as a country.
I think I will pass on today's games.

Democrats are for IRAN. Obama purposely empowered Iran. How? He sent cash taxpayers money of $1.73 billion to Iran via an unnamed Airline at the Middle of the night. That amount was in addition to the $150 billion provided to Iran in the guise of nuclear containment. Provision required that Iran within 10 years will not manufacture nuclear bombs. But Iran continuously manufacture the nuclear arsenals, and now Iran is as powerful as NOKO. Iran has the capability to hit Israel, and that has been the objective of the democrats to dismantle Israel.

Good points emarine, although I don't think we lost the "big stick" because third world dictators have nukes... I think for the duration of the Cold War and ever since, our "big stick" has been our economic power and in that respect we do still hold the biggest stick in the world. It's just that because of things like what you mentioned about China shifting from U.S. T-bonds to gold, we keep finding that every time we look up the other sticks keep getting bigger and it's getting to the point where our big stick is no longer the guaratee it used to be.

So I agree with your conclusion... our choices are to be smart or be stupid.

As for this game Kings... it's an interesting situation... Russia, China and Iran are developing something they are calling the Eurasian Market and most of the known oil and gas reserves in the world are in close proximity to this market as well the largest potential consumer markets like India with 1.8 billion people and a fast growing middle class that in a few years will probably make the U.S. consumer market look like two teenage girls at a restaurant sharing a salad and two waters.

I know this is going to sound really liberal but I really do think the sooner we can move the world into a sustainable energy mix, the better this game will go for us because that will undercut the value of oil and gas, which is the most significant advantage the Eurasian Market would have over us.

These guys are here to play a 'GAME', politics should have no part in playing a 'GAME'. If you players love this country then show that respect for our f**g and the country you were blessed to be born in. If you do not love this great country then go try and find another country where you can do what you do and get paid the kind of money you make.......good luck with that. I am very close to spending my football season Sundays fishing or finding something else to do. I can watch politics on the news, I don't want to watch politics when I watch a sport.
