Richard, please provide two pieces of information1) how many people were given ivermectin between May 9 & June 23 . If they were already at the peak how much decline was due to expected path vs reduced by ivermectin. These are data from one county/state vs country. Timetable does not indicate ivermectin was cause of decline. Let me know outcome of the attempt to sentence WHO chief scientist. Is India still actively using ivermectin in treatment of latest variants? How’s that going.

Please confirm where the fact that India authorised use of Ivermectin in late May 2021 and first week in June 2021cases started coming down was due to Ivermectin or due to C***D variant peaking(India hit 73% immunized) Check attached article that indicated no clinical verification that all of India could get Ivermectin that quickly and that Ivermectin was key factor in reducing C***D hospitalisation / deaths. In summary, neither the epidemiological nor the clinical data support the claim that the reduction in C****-** cases in India is due to the use of ivermectin. Media outlets making that claim based this solely on temporal correlation without providing evidence of a causal relationship. Contradicting this claim, epidemiological data show that contagiousness began to decrease in India before the release of new official guidelines recommending the use of ivermectin.

Here is what I found relative to India’s attack on civid with large emphasis on v******tions, lock down & social distancing, proper washing and little to no mention of the drugs you mention as major impact to attack on C***d: The first C****-** case in India was reported in Thrissur, Kerala, on 30 January 2020. By the end of March 2020, the number of confirmed cases had gone up to 1000. The Government of India imposed a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of the disease and further extended it untilJuly 2020. While India ramped up its health care infrastructure during this period, there was a downward trend by the end of September 2020. India also launched its C****-** v******tion drive on 16 January 2021. However, new variants were detected, which propelled India into a second wave that was much worse.

By June 2021, India has been again to reduce the number of C***D cases in the country. This decrease has been possible because of continued v******tion drive, massive information campaigns, lockdowns and people again religiously following CAB. As a result, the number of positive cases has reached a historical low by the end of August 2021.

UNICEF has been working very closely with the Government of India to push v******tion drive across India and also make sure people adhere to C****-** appropriate behaviours.

We have plenty of examples from other countries, previous gun control laws that worked that can be quickly reimplemented, to discussions of additional action that can be taken to keep or people safer & not in Martal Law type lockdown. This is clearly a social issue that affects all USA citizens regardless of political affiliations. Let your congressman know you expect action or will v**e someone in that will take action.

Let’s cross the vivid lines in the sand and begin to have meaningful discussions & take actions at Federal level and or state levels to slow down & stop this violent trend.

Note: I am an avid h****r, gun owner and enjoy the outdoors. While I believe in the 2nd amendment it was written at time of single shot rifles & pistols, mass shootings would be impossible as shooter would be contained after one or two shots! Most states do not allow assault type rifles to hunt with-why do they make up +20% of guns sales when they have limited practical use? All countries have mental health issues, but we are the only one with high violent crime & gun death issues. A friend of mine-gun collector, h****r, self ammo loader recently sold his AR so as not to be associated with this violence.

Since non extension of assault rifle restriction legislation in 2004 gun violence has increased +240%. Violent rhetoric , name calling & destructive comments toward veteran, minorities, co-workers who disagree, and seasoned workers(congress, v****g volunteers, friends & family)has increased. If your not on my side your the enemy no discussion had. Bias opinionated news has skewed facts so t***h is hard to discern. We need a lot of work on civil debate of issues, non violent resolutions and unity on Democracy.
