Congress passed a law putting tough economic and travel sanctions on the oligarchs who prop up Russian dictator Vlad Putin. Putin is a bad actor who illegally invaded Ukraine, murders his political enemies and interferes with the e******ns in free nations around the world including ours. These sanctions are a no brainer for any American President as they will accelerate Putin’€™s demise or at the very least make his supporters rethink their loyalties. Sadly our presidents motto rings hollow, he says “America first” but his actions are all “Russia first” Trump refused to enforce the sanctions congress passed. Why would Trump hand a brutal authoritarian adversary such a gift? The answer is obvious either Putin has dirt on Trump that would end his presidency, Trump is in bed with Putin and owes him for his e******n or both. Why isn’€™t the media demanding an explanation? The American people deserve that, and the t***h.

And now for the actual facts:

The law, which passed with overwhelming bipartisan support in Congress and which Trump signed into law in early August, required the administration to identify which Russian entities would be penalized with new sanctions by October 1. They still have not done so. The State Department has said it is “working to complete the process and provide the public guidance to the relevant people just as soon as possible.” But it’s no secret that Trump, who has emphasized wanting a warmer relationship with Russia, did not want to sign the bill into law — and did so grudgingly.

With the GOP controlling all 3 branches of government, that must be quite the cliff.

Hang in there liberal ... if history is any judge you won't remain irrelevant forever.

Even the fools at fox and the trump f**e news network are throwing the eggs at the i***t nunes and his incompetent staff, who wrote the stupid memo and proved nothing with their lies and innuendo.

And the democrats are trying to get their own memo released, but as predicted, the republicans are blocking its release.

Ah, doubling down on ignorance I see. The democrats hadn't written their memo at the time of the v**e (it is probably still unwritten). Dems just wanted blind approval to release 'something' once it was written. Knowing full well it wouldn't be approved, they came out shouting how Republicans v**ed down their memo. What the committee actually said was, write your memo and let everyone in the committee read it just like we did. Then we'll know what it is we're v****g on. That's the process we followed, that's the process we expect you to follow.

But let's not bother anyone with factual details. Just keep spewing your mindless bulls**t. Your posting are worthless.

The fools at fox are twisting themselves into piles of blubbering, slobbering apologists, trying to find something they can justify the stupidity of nunes in writing his stupid memo.
And trump proves he is just as stupid for de-classifying the memo, despite the objections of the FBI and DOJ. And trump is getting no help from sessions.
And the Mueller investigation will continue, and now the FBI has a reason to be pissed off, and really go after trump and his criminal activity.
If paul ryan is smart, and wants to save his speaker ship, he will fire nunes asap.
Thanks to the trump stupidity, he has put himself and republicans into a corner they don't want to be in.

This just shows how really uninformed and partisan you are. The memo is a collection of facts extracted from the FBI's own IG investigation. That's why the FBI (and democrats) was adamant it not be released. If it were a pack of lies and falsehoods, democrats would have been only too happy to have it released, knowing it would only be egg on Republican's faces down the road.

Every American, regardless of party affiliation, should be stunned and dismayed by the facts in this memo. It is indicative of a government run amok. I am quite certain conservatives everywhere would consider these acts equally repugnant and egregious had it been perpetrated by a Republican administration. And I'm not so sure we won't still find out this s**t was going on under Bush as well. Only a blind partisan could read this memo and then scream, "Nothing to see here!!" I'm embarrassed for you and the blind hatred you seem to have for this president.

Well that's the dumbest thing I've read on OPP in maybe 3 months, and unfortunately I read some pretty dumb things. You bring new meaning to the term "horse manure". Nice to see you have a optimistic outlook on life. You are the poster boy/girl for the nihilistic movement. Once again, if Trump cured cancer the i***ts on the Left (other than you, of course) would something wrong with the process. You CANNOT please people like you. Sad! And therefore I will ignore you and your ignorant attitude in the future. If it was such a set up, why couldn't the salacious magician of the last 8 years pull it off even with the over the top corruption? BTW, the biggest bunch of bulls**t I've heard since Obama was in office, is exactly what I heard out of your cynical mouth.

Four days ago I posted this: Once Trump takes full credit for this so-called "booming economy" [which he did at the SOTU] then he will have to take full blame when it all comes crashing down.

Today I read this: "Dow industrial heads for roughly 1,050-point weekly drop—biggest weekly setback in 2 years"

But somehow my post was the dumbest thing fullspinzoo read in 3 months ...

That is a curious story. "Chain-migration" has always been a part of coming to America: it is not a new trick by the "rapist" Mexicans or Muslim "terrorists." That the Democrats care for these people and Republicans appear not to (and they could to stuff their b****t boxes, but they have their gerrymandering and Big Business), of course those who champion their cause would be favored: would you v**e for someone that ignored you? If you were on a fixed income and needed Social Security to survive, would you v**e for a candidate that would end Social Security? Is that stuffing the b****t box or being compassionate?

In effect you are saying that the Republican lean for Big Business is just to stuff their coffers. They don't really care about Billionaires.

You sir are a revisionist.

Without giving you an entire lesson on the history of US immigration, I will skip to the bottom line. Immigration (and by that I mean LEGAL immigration) was controlled in one form or another until the Hart-Cellar Act of 1965. The Dems controlled all branches of government and v**ed to remove all quotas on immigration effectively opening the flood gates. Now why would they want to do that I wonder? For the same reason they pretend to care about DACA today.

You can quit playing the violin with your stories of Europeans flooding our shores to make a better life for themselves. This is about Dem doing wh**ever they can to stuff the b****t box. Always has been ... always will be. Same reason they're so adamantly against v**er id laws.

This is the way it should be for everyone in Congress. Commit to serve for a term or two then get out before you become infected.

Term limits would solve a lot of our problems and protect us from the rats currently scurrying through the halls of Congress.
