proud, I still can't believe that Trump would put a target on the back of the judges daughter by criticizing her in court. Many MAGA Republicans have threatened judges and even relatives that have nothing to do with the court decision. By any definition this kind of political terrorism has no place in a country that calls itself a nation of laws. This is not the first time Trump has attacked the judicial system. The judges must tolerate this because they are afraid of another reason to delay the the case.

I am familiar with the idea that a human life may be at stake, and that goes both ways. My religion, Judaism holds that the life of the Mother is more important than that of the baby. This is a belief that is certainly not held by all Jews. I don't know the reason for this religious belief, but it is true of the Conservative
movement, not so much with the Orthodox. In any case, the majority of women, and most people is definitely pro choice. In a democracy, majority rules with protection of the minority. You have the right to protest, the idea of pro choice, and anything you want.
I don't know if Christians or the Christian religion is being persecuted or not, but I really can't see it. You are free to join any Church, Mosque, Synagogue, or Temple you want. You are free not to practice any religion, or not. In most cases, some minority people with what you would call a sexual disorder are being persecuted by Christians. The fact remains that most people in this blessed land are Christian. Any politician that would really be anti-Christian would go down in flames.

This attack was well planned out to the last detail. It is no secret to Hamas that Israel was founded mostly as a refuge for Jews being persecuted around the world. The credo of the U.S. is in G-D we trust, the credo of Israel was, and is " never again ". Hamas knew that Israel could have only one option, war. That is why they built hundreds of miles of tunnels in Gaza. They were deliberately placed around populated centers like Mosques, schools and hospitals so the civilians would be a human shield. It was these places that Hamas launched rockets into Israel, built armories and command centers. When Israel did attack Hamas, they used five hundred lb. bombs. That was the only way to attack Hamas without taking terrible casualties. Of course many innocent civilians died in these attacks. It was neither planned by Israel or wanted by them!
People around the world are protesting Israel creating such a high death rate among the civilians. I believe that Hamas is at least as much to blame as Israel. It was they that built the tunnels, not an air raid shelter for civilians but as human shielded military bases. It was they that attacked Israeli civilians in the most barbaric way possible. It was they that took over two hundred hostages.

I know that free speech exists to protect unpopular speech, popular speech doesn't need protection. I also know that if free speech isn't protected for groups I don't agree with, it doesn't have to be guaranteed for me.
Having said that, Free speech is also allowed to criticize that which you don't agree with. Burning the American f**g may be legitimate, but because it is so negative, and so many people have strong attachment to it, it is reasonable to expect strong protest. We see that every day.
