I think this article speaks for itself on how charity to those who cannot support themselves should be helped.

Do you need more? I can get more. I believe I can find more left leaning sites stating the same if a couple are not enough. Alicia, you make the ridiculous statements with no facts what so ever. I believe you comments over ran your brain!

You're missing Obama deliberately trying to sabotage America's economic system and crash our country into Nationalist Socialism. (What used to be called N**I-ism) Obama is Islamic. That means he has sworn an oath to Allah to destroy us.
to whom are you replying?
This may contain ideas of how to legally screw the oppressive government we now have. I think all of us know someone who seems to always be a step or two ahead of the revenuers. Just food for thought for some.

1.) We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering.
We judge people by their sense of responsibility for having a dangerous weapon and their cowardice in not tying their name to the weapon.
Marv, you are an i***t are you, the first thing all governments do as they turn on their citizens is to register all guns closely followed by door to door confiscation. I am afraid that will be extremely bloody in this country. Everyone I know who has guns won't give them up without a fight to the death. What part of the Second Amendment says you must register your arms? That's right it ain't there is it. Registering weapon in an infringement upon the rights of the citizens of this country. You can go peaceably to the reeducation (FEMA) camps to be made into soylent green if you want but many will not.PoppaGringo wrote:
2.) Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money.
How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.
Think about it..... Last but not least:

Congress cannot possibly run out of money.
I know most l*****t progressive c****e Marxist/democrats are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, but you must be towards the bottom of the list. We are already bankrupt, AKA Greece, we owe more money that the next few generations can even pay back if the spending stop now. I can't believe you l*****t cannot see what's happening to our nation as a result of years of l*****t policies. Most people on food stamps are children, elderly, and the working poor.
Not to mention the gold brickers illegally collecting entitlements, which far out number those who cannot support themselves and need it to survive.MarvinSussman wrote:

You immediate family were all immigrants, taking land from the natives. Come down off the soapbox.
While it's true my immediate family were immigrants from Germany, the native indians had long been removed by others before we arrived. My family homesteaded in Northwest Iowa and we still farm there. We legally purchased the property and have owned it since sometime right after the civil war. I agree the native indians got screwed over by the white man but my family didn't have anything to do with it. I guess you could say we took advantage of it though.
