Our doctor did and for 6 more in our immediate circle, during the first 3 days of high fever, coughing, shortness of breath. No hospital, no deaths...in December 2019. A government contractor came back from China, shook each person's hands at a board meeting. No C***d tests, but a test for flu came back negative withing 15 minutes of testing. All 7 came down 14 days after the contact with the host.

Actually, your incorrect. Not about apologizing because of your skin color. But because you think there's no relation between s***ery and poverty, s***ery & jobs, or housing, education. The fact that your white only shows you never experienced it or had to deal with it. I disagree with those that want to pay r********ns, but there is a connection.

I call BS. Typical trick, state something as fact that was never said. "But because you think there's no relation between s***ery and poverty, s***ery & jobs, or housing, education." That was never stated or implied.

None living today experienced the Civil War s***ery experience.

My family comes from white poverty. My white grandfather was the underling sharecropper for a sizeable wealthy farmer's land. Grandpa could sign his name with an "X;" grandmother could not even do that. Dad quit school in the third grade. He was the oldest male sibling (of 15) able to walk behind a mule plowing the field by hand. A boy of 9 was doing a man's work. All of his siblings helped too; sunup to sundown.

I remember mom and dad working full time; grandpa helped with eggs and milk from the farm. [Our home burned 3 times when I was a child.] I remember a short time as a child when we got surplus food-powdered eggs, canned meat, dry split green peas, peanut butter, dried milk, cheese, oatmeal. We ate a lot of beans, tomatoes, bread, rarely any meat.

By the time I was 9, mom and dad had a small home, too old for insurance, no plumbing or well; however, it had a wood cookstove, an outhouse, a solid roof, electricity, and a spring. [Once dad had the house, our family was not eligible for any aid, not even food.] Together, they raised 4 children who graduated high school.

What is wrong in this county is not where we came from, our historical past, but the moral fiber that guides us forward. We need the following things to succeed.

• A belief system of good and evil; i.e., religion
• Two parents in the home; children need good role models of both sexes
• An intact family unit
• A strong work ethic
• A high school diploma
• A trade or marketable sk**l
• The willingness to help others
• Self-reliance
• Courage to stand against evil

So, why are the l*****ts fighting against having Trump rallies?
If the v***s is as bad as they claim, you'd think they would want the Trump base to die after attending a rally.

Oh, and my expletive ass governer was marching, in a recent protest that went south, without wearing a mask [news reporter caught it on film], even while he keeps the state locked down with executive orders. And the stores I go in, the employees with masks, 2/3's aren't covering their noses, so why bother putting one on their face?

Open the country, we'll take our chances.

Oh that med that Trump took and the Dems says doesn't work was taken in Early December for a Fever over 103, repeated hacking coughing and an undetermined bacterial infection.

We did not have the flu, but had been exposed to someone who visited a government workplace in China and met with our group. Five more were sick with the same symptoms our household had-same meds, same community medical practice. All patients were Over 60 and 70, none died.

Oh yes, indentured servants, they had rights, a change or two of clothing and a pair of shoes a year, a roof over their heads and food. They were not protected from beatings and assault, nothing said what type of roof or the amount of food or the type of punishment for not following the rules. Many of them couldn't read the documents that they signed. And lest I forget, convicts cleared Georgia's swamps because they were not as valuable as s***es, the convicts were expendable.

I've heard it denied that the N**is k**led Jews, that the Holocaust never happened.
Statues, writings, and technology rendered information leave a footprint for good or bad, it exists. When you destroy records or evidence of moments in history, you negate the lessons learned.

During the same period of history that we had s***es, we had small children working dawn to dusk in factories in the north, we had indentured servants with no rights, we had women and children who were the property of their husbands and fathers. Men could beat their wives and children, there was no recourse for those beaten. Men gave their daughters away to other men to settle a debt. A woman could be married to a man against her will, she had no recourse.

When you shut down a class of people from speaking, you degenerate their opinions and right to exist as God's children.

Today, we k**l babies, even after they are born by neglecting them.
We k**l disabled or seniors with laws for assisted suicide.
We call anyone who doesn't agree with us, r****ts, or x-phobic to shut them up.
We have those in mobs exercise mob rule, they shout people down who don't agree with us.
Mobs destroy businesses, property, and lives because we have the right to peacefully protest
We make laws turning law-abiding citizens into criminals because they are not "woke enough" to agree to the systematic destruction and undermining of the constitution.
We re-elect officials who refuse to do what is right for American citizens.
We promise money the country doesn't have to invaders of this country.
We promise free education, housing, health care, child care, and food to those who aren't citizens.
We refuse to help intact families and promote fatherless families.
Our seniors choose between food, medicine, and utilities, even as non-citizens are promised more per month than the seniors draw from their working histories on Medicare.
We keep electing politicians whose records show they are only in it for themselves, not American citizens.
We're paying people more to Not work than they will make at their day jobs.

Insanity abounds, we as a nation need to wake up. Nero fiddled while Rome burned. We are close to our expiration date--if you pay attention to history.

It seems so simple. Native Americans have lands that belong to them, they are a nation within the USA. They have their own laws, schools, and leadership. Why not carve out another nation for b****s? I am sure the details could be worked out.

What do you think?

Why repeat something that didn't work the first time around. At least as I read about it, the poor schools, homes needing upgrades, and alcoholism, and diabeties are confined on the reservations. New hud housing in other sectors of the country with access to multiple doctors on the taxpayers' dime is better, and so is access to e******y in schools. Affirmative action on jobs and special concessions on college entry are perks not afforded to the Indian nations on those reservations. Just how many high paying jobs are there on reservations? I don't know, do you?

At least the wealthy confine themselves behind gates with the monies obtained from the sweat of workers from all walks of life. <snark>

Why are the r**ts happening in the neighborhoods where the working poor have tried to make something of themselves? Why are paid troublemakers targeting the less affluent neighborhoods? Who's going after the land? Has anyone checked out the planning boards and commissioners' agendas?

If someone is so concerned about helping anyone, why do they think violence and destruction is the way? Oh, yes, that's right, the residents will be better off when they move out of those areas. Have you ever looked at pictures of destroyed areas?
No one, in any time, place, or period of history has benefited by r**ts or war in their neighborhoods. No one wins a war! The poor always suffer, the rich can run out of harm's way. Who wants the land where these r**t's are happening?

Under the law, there is a theory called the “egg-shell plaintiff” theory. This theory says that a defendant must take a plaintiff as he finds him.

So a fragile older person contracts the v***s and dies, prior to this he is doing well, taking care of himself and his home.

His lungs become enflamed, he struggles to breathe. He dies. Heart attack, stroke, pneumonia, or the v***s? But for the v***s that puts extra strain on his heart, kidney, liver, lungs, he could have possibly lived a few more years. Instead, he's lands in ICU and then dies.

This is the term for people who aren't stupid at all, but they act ignorant as a cover for truly ignorant rhetoric and positions....the "I didn't know" when they full well know exactly what the facts and reality are. And how appropriate that the word pseudo is "f**e" or false.

I have asked for years, do those on the right really believe the crap they come up with? They couldn't possibly be this ignorant.

This country is handling the fight with c****av***s worse than any other country on the planet, all science based responses and plans for opening up is out the window with the right because of the GOP and FOX rhetoric. We start to get a hard won semi control and this ignorance is abandoning it in a ridiculously lame attempt to save the economy...which is destined to give the double tap as we are forced to go back to a fighting strategy after hundreds of thousands of people die before the end of the year.

We can only pray that this hits the most ignorant who aren't taking this seriously the hardest, God's way of purging the rural red state v****g rolls. We already know red states are going to get hammered earliest because they are opening up against white house guidelines for opening up.

Here's a happy thought from Trump though, it might not even come back in the fall at all...even though it is far from gone.

Are you sure the term is not "deceptively ignorant?" Plausible deniability and all that, don't you know?

We're day wh**ever into the social distancing and staying at home thingy.
I miss conflict and finding resolutions.
I miss meeting in our volunteer organizations and the undercurrents.
I miss doing and being somewhere.
And no, I'm still not doing anything on the Honey-do list.
I exercised again on the elliptical machine yesterday, going to do it again today.
I'm desperate, I only exercise by riding the motorcycle.
I've got to be able to get back into my gear.
This doing nothing but sleep, eat, work on the computer is adding pounds!
Can you relate?

Which brings up a question I have.

Everyone is encouraged, some even ordered to stay at home now, right?

So, why are stores, and companies paying the Postal Service to deliver full coverage (every box gets one) advertisements to draw people to their stores??

Seems pretty dumb to me...

Do you remember the "Computer Shopper Magazine," way back when we had floppy 5-inch disks? We went to the largest PO box you could get after they folded the floppy's rending them useless. You could fit about 6 Sears catalogs in it.

Our town is post office box mail only. All my bills are due by about the 15th and as long as I check the mail by the 10th I'm good. If you get too much mail, they'll put a key in the mail for an extra onsite mailbox. I only need to watch the mail for meds, every 3 months.

We've stopped magazines and newspaper deliveries, do a return to sender on junk mail. Most of the time my mailbox is 7/8's empty.

I'm cooking and cleaning the kitchen after I cook. Now mandatory-taking turns. Failing that it's every man for himself.

I'm reading and posting reviews, looking for free ebooks.

I'm avoiding the news, except for a brief 5-minute update on my state's mandate each day.

I've finally gotten on my elliptical exercise machine--3 times in 4 weeks-more to come.

I'm watching some YouTube, car crashes mostly.

I have not done any of the honey-do things on the list.

I've decided to use dog clippers on my hair; comb-overs are not a good option.

I'm checking the mail at least twice a month.

Every now and again, I take a shower and get dressed. Don't have to worry about any company, I just start to itch.

The beard is gone. Easier to wash a bare face.

I finally weed-whacked around the back door after the second rider
mower mowing of the season. (Guess why?)

So, what are you doing or not doing right now!

Yes, but I drink vodka, a liquor, or bourbon for a sore throat and a beer, three nights running, for a voiding problem. A shot also helps when the stomach does not want to empty (took my prescription off the market.)
