16-Year-Old Student Who Was Suspended for Saying 'I*****l A***n' Hits Back Against School District
https://www.westernjournal.com/16-year-old-student-suspended-saying-illegal-alien-hits-back-school-district/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=WJBreaking&utm_campaign=breaking&utm_content=western-journal

A North Carolina teenager who was suspended from class for three days last month for using the term “i*****l a***ns” is suing his school district for violating his First and Fourteenth Amendment rights.

Christian McGhee, 16, is a sophomore at Central Davidson High School in Lexington, North Carolina.

The Liberty Justice Center, a non-profit litigation firm with a commitment to constitutional freedom, announced Tuesday it is suing McGhee’s school district for sending him home.

The group said in a news release that on April 9, the teen was involved in a classroom discussion when his teacher used the word “alien.”

The teen asked the teacher to clarify if she was referring to “space aliens, or i*****l a***ns who need green cards?”

The Liberty Justice Center said the question caused no disruption in class, but administrators made a decision to suspend McGhee for three days for a “vicious racial slur.”

On Tuesday, the group announced it was suing the Davidson County Board of Education on behalf of the teen.

Will Christian win his lawsuit?
Yes: 98% (393 V**es)
No: 2% (8 V**es)
“Having been branded as a r****t by his school, Christian’s return [to class] was met with ostr****m, bullying, and threats. Concerned for his safety, his parents unenrolled him, and he is now completing the semester through a homeschooling program,” the Liberty Justice Center said in its release announcing the lawsuit.

Buck Dougherty, an attorney with the firm, said that by suspending McGhee, the school board violated his rights to free speech and due process.

McGhee was not allowed to appeal the suspension.

“Even though Christian asked a factual, non-threatening question — about a word the class was discussing — the school board branded him with false accusations of r****m,” Dougherty said.

He concluded, “The school has not only violated his constitutional right to free speech, but also his right to due process and his right to access education, a guaranteed right under North Carolina law. We are proud to stand beside Christian and his family in challenging this egregious violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments.”

Another attorney with the litigation firm said the lawsuit is about ensuring school districts understand that their rights to free speech apply when they are in class.

Dean McGee with the Liberty Justice Center said, “School officials have effectively fabricated a racial incident out of thin air and branded our client as a r****t without even giving him an opportunity to appeal.”

Leah McGhee, the mother of the teen, also defended her son in the statement released by the group.

“I have raised our son to reject r****m in all its forms, but it is the school, not Christian, that injected race into this incident,” Leah McGhee said. “It appears that this administration would rather destroy its own reputation and the reputation of my son rather than admit they made a mistake.”

The lawsuit is asking a court to recognize that the Davidson County Board of Education had no standing to suspend the teen.

The suit is also asking for Christian McGhee’s suspension to be removed from his academic record.

Stormy Daniels Takes the Witness Stand in Trump’s NY Trial
https://www.breitbart.com/news/the-latest-new-witnesses-set-to-take-the-stand-as-trump-hush-money-trial-enters-its-13th-day/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=daily&utm_campaign=20240507

NEW YORK (AP) — As the third week of witness testimony in Donald Trump’s hush money trial takes place, all eyes are on who will be called next and whether the former president will be able to abide by the terms of his now twice-broken gag order that bars him from speaking publicly about jurors, witnesses and some others connected to the case.

Porn actor Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, was called to the witness stand by mid-morning, following testimony from a Penguin Random House executive.

Before Monday’s testimony began, Judge Juan M. Merchan found Trump in contempt of court for a second time, fining him $1,000 for a single violation and sternly warning the loquacious former president that jail time would be considered for future violations “if necessary and appropriate.”

Two people tied to the Trump Organization took the stand on Monday — former controller Jeffrey McConney and accounts payable supervisor Deborah Tarasoff — elaborating on a key piece of the charges against Trump: Michael Cohen’s reimbursement for the $130,000 Daniels payment.

Tuesday’s witness testimony is set to dig further into the events and people involved in what prosecutors have said was a scheme to influence the 2016 p**********l e******n by buying and burying negative stories about the then-candidate.

The trial is in its 13th day.

Trump is accused of falsifying internal business records to cover up hush money payments — including the payment to Daniels — recording them instead as legal expenses.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

The case is the first-ever criminal trial of a former U.S. president and the first of four prosecutions of Trump to reach a jury.

DANIELS FURTHER DESCRIBES ENCOUNTER WITH TRUMP

After talking with Donald Trump in his hotel suite for about two hours, Stormy Daniels testified, she went to use the bathroom. When she was finished, she said, she found Trump sitting on the bed wearing boxer shorts and a T-shirt.

“When I exited, he was up on the bed, like this,” Daniels testified, feigning reclining with her knees up in the witness stand.

“At first it was just startled, like jump scare. I wasn’t expecting someone to be there, minus a lot of clothing,” Daniels testified. She said it suddenly felt like the room was spinning, like blood was draining from her hands and feet.

“I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ what did I misread to get here?” Daniels testified. “Because the intention was pretty clear. Somebody stripped down in their underwear and posed on the bed, waiting for you.”

Daniels said Trump told her: “I thought we were getting somewhere, we’re talking. I thought you were serious about what you wanted. If you ever want to get out of that trailer park — I was offended because I never lived in a trailer park.”

JUDGE ADMONISHES PROSECUTOR OVER EXCESSIVE DETAILS IN DANIELS TESTIMONY

Before Stormy Daniels returned to the stand after a morning break on Tuesday, the judge in Donald Trump’s hush money case admonished prosecutor Susan Hoffinger about the “degree of detail” she’s eliciting from Daniels, saying there was no need to get into the design of the floor in the hotel room foyer or the various subjects covered in her conversation with Trump.

“The degree of detail that we’re going into here is just unnecessary,” Judge Juan M. Merchan said.

DANIELS SAYS TRUMP SUGGESTED PUTTING HER ON ‘THE APPRENTICE’

Before a morning break in Donald Trump’s criminal trial, Stormy Daniels testified that she and Trump spoke for about two hours in his hotel suite before they were supposed to go to dinner. During the conversation, she said, he dangled the idea of putting her on his TV show “The Apprentice.”

Daniels testified that Trump pitched the allure of a porn star competing on the show — which had yet to spawn its celebrity version — and said it would be a chance for her to show the world that, as a writer and director, she’s “more than a dumb bimbo.”

Daniels said she doubted the show’s network, NBC, would ever let it happen, and that she feared her lack of business acumen would make her an easy out. She said she enjoyed her work making adult films and isn’t ashamed of it, but she had designs on writing and directing music videos and more mainstream productions.

“They have bigger budgets and better catering,” she quipped on the witness stand.

Daniels testified that her takeaway from Trump was that “people might be able to take me serious, know that I wasn’t just an airhead” and that being on the show could position her to “about what I wanted to do, which was to be taken seriously as a writer and director.”

“He’s like, ‘this is your chance for somebody to see you and maybe give you that opportunity,’” Daniels said. “He pitched it as a win-win.”

TRUMP GREETED DANIELS IN HIS HOTEL SUITE IN HIS PAJAMAS, SHE SAYS

When Stormy Daniels went to meet Donald Trump for dinner in 2006, she testified Tuesday, she took an elevator up to the penthouse level of the hotel where was staying per instructions from his bodyguard.

Daniels said she saw the bodyguard, Keith Schiller, outside the door and exchanged pleasantries with him before going inside.

Schiller had told her the plan was for her and Trump to go down to one of the hotel’s restaurants for dinner. She said she entered a foyer with black and white tile floors, mahogany furnishings and a big floral arrangement.

She said she called Trump’s name and said, “Hello,” and Trump entered the foyer “wearing silk or satin pajamas that I immediately made fun of him for.”

“I said, ‘Does Mr. Hefner know you stole his pajamas,’” Daniels recalled, referring to the late Playboy owner. Trump then left her to quickly change into a suit. She said Trump’s hotel suite was three times the size of her apartment.

Daniels testified that after Trump changed, the two of them sat down at a dining room table in the penthouse. He started asking her about her childhood and her career — probing questions about the production of adult films, how much of them is scripted versus improv, whether performers have unions and how testing for sexually t***smitted diseases works in the industry.

“He was very, very interested in a lot of the business aspects of it, which I thought was very cool,” as most people just ask about “the sexy stuff … the salacious things,” Daniels said.

Trump listened to Daniels’ testimony with a pained expression on his face, muttering at times to lawyers on either side of him.

DANIELS SPEAKS ABOUT AGREEING TO DINNER WITH TRUMP IN 2006

Stormy Daniels testified Tuesday morning that she saw Donald Trump again after the golf round in what was known as the “gift room,” an area where the celebrity golfers collected gift bags and swag during the Lake Tahoe event. There, she said, he remembered her as “the smart one,” and asked her if she wanted to go to dinner.

She testified that Trump’s bodyguard, Keith Schiller, took her number.

Daniels said she accepted Trump’s invite because she wanted to get out of a planned dinner with her adult film company colleagues, some of whom she “didn’t want to be around — catfights,” she said with a chuckle.

She said her then-publicist suggested in a phone call that Trump’s invitation was a good excuse to duck the work dinner and would “make a great story” and perhaps help her career. “What could possibly go wrong?” she recalled the publicist saying.

DANIELS IDENTIFIES TRUMP IN COURTROOM

As is standard in court proceedings, Stormy Daniels was asked Tuesday morning if she saw Donald Trump in the courtroom and to identify him.

Before answering, Daniels shuffled in her seat for a beat, looking around the courtroom. She pointed toward Trump, describing his navy suit coat, and said he was sitting at the defense table.

Trump looked straight forward, lips pursed, as he was identified.

It is the 13th day of Trump’s hush money trial and a payment that was made to Daniels is at the heart of the charges against the former president.

DANIELS TESTIFIES ABOUT HER CAREER AND MEETING TRUMP

Stormy Daniels testified Tuesday that she started appearing in adult films at age 23 and soon was writing and directing them, as well. She said she has directed over 150 such films and has won a roster of porn industry awards.

Daniels was upbeat and voluble on the stand, speaking over the prosecutor’s questions occasionally and laughing at times as she recounted her wide-ranging resume. She was twice asked by prosecutor Susan Hoffinger to slow down so that a court stenographer could keep up.

Daniels’ testimony quickly shifted to the celebrity golf outing in Lake Tahoe where she met Trump in 2006.

The adult film studio she worked for at the time was sponsoring one of the holes on the golf course. She told the court that she and Trump initially had a “very brief encounter” when his group passed through. She recalled him chatting to her about the adult film industry and her directing prowess, remarking that she must be “the smart one” if she was making films.

DANIELS BEGINS TESTIMONY BY DESCRIBING HER UPBRINGING

Prosecutors in Donald Trump’s hush money case began their questioning of Stormy Daniels on Tuesday by asking her about her upbringing in Louisiana.

Daniels first spoke about having grown up poor and said she wanted to become a veterinarian.

She testified that she did ballet growing up, and then an acquaintance got her into exotic dancing while she was in high school.

“I started dancing on the weekend, which was pretty cool because I didn’t have to miss any classes,” Daniels testified.

As Daniels describes her childhood and early work experience, Trump whispered frequently in the ear of his attorney, Todd Blanche. Otherwise, his gaze was cast down at his desk and his face expressionless.

Jurors listened attentively as Daniels testified about getting into adult films.

One juror smirked when Daniels mentioned one of the ways into the industry was by winning a contest, like “Miss Nude North America.” Many jurors took notes, alternating their gaze from Daniels on the witness stand to prosecutor Susan Hoffinger at a lectern behind the prosecution table.

STORMY DANIELS CALLED TO THE STAND

Stormy Daniels has been called to the witness stand in Donald Trump’s hush money trial.

The porn actor was paid $130,000 in the final weeks of the 2016 p**********l race to keep quiet about what she says was an awkward and unexpected sexual encounter with Trump at a celebrity golf outing in Lake Tahoe in July 2006.

Trump denies having sex with Daniels.

At the time of the payment, Trump and his campaign were reeling from the Oct. 7, 2016 publication of the never-before-seen 2005 “Access Hollywood” footage — in which he boasted about grabbing women without their permission.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s personal attorney, paid Daniels through a shell corporation he created and the deal was finalized on Nov. 1, 2016, just a week before E******n Day.

Prosecutors have said that payments from Trump reimbursing Cohen were falsely — and illegally — logged as legal fees to cover up their actual purpose. Trump’s lawyers contend the payments were legitimate legal expenses.

ADDITIONAL QUOTES FROM TRUMP’S BOOKS ENTERED INTO THE RECORD

Over the objections of defense attorneys, prosecutors in Donald Trump’s hush money trial on Tuesday introduced additional excerpts from one of his books, “How to Get Rich,” including an epigraph from Trump’s mother and a page thanking the book’s co-writer, Meredith McIver.

The line of questioning seems designed to undercut the defense’s suggestion, made on cross-examination, that the books were written by a ghostwriter, with little involvement from Trump.

“Are quotes attributed to an author’s mother typically written by a ghost writer or the author?” Mangold asked.

“The author,” Franklin replied.

TRUMP’S SON COMPLAINS ABOUT HUSH MONEY CASE

While sitting in court Tuesday morning, Donald Trump’s son Eric posted on the social platform X about his father’s hush money trial, calling it “unbelievable” that a former president and current p**********l candidate “is being tried for 34 felonies (based on a bookkeepers entry who never spoke with the President and sat in New York while he was in the Oval Office 240 miles away from Washington DC).”

PUBLISHING EXECUTIVE IS FIRST WITNESS OF THE DAY

Sally Franklin, an executive at Penguin Random House, was the first witness to take the stand Tuesday in Donald Trump’s hush money trial. One of the publishing house’s imprints published a couple of Trump’s books, “Trump: How to Get Rich” and “Trump: Think Like a Billionaire.”

Prosecutor Becky Mangold began questioning by having Franklin read excerpts from the 2004 volume “Trump: How to Get Rich” that get at Trump’s approach to business.

The readings appeared to be designed to show that Trump was hands-on at his company and willing to retaliate against those he perceived to have done him wrong.

Among the excerpts: “If you don’t know every aspect of what you’re doing, down to the paper clips, you’re setting yourself up for some unwanted surprises,” and “for many years, I’ve said that if someone screws you, screw them back.”

Testimony eventually moved on to excerpts from Trump’s 2005 “Trump: Think Like a Billionaire,” including sections in praise of penny-pinching (“I call it financial smarts”) and keeping a close eye on bills.

As Trump lawyer Todd Blanche got his chance to cross-examine Franklin, he underscored that Trump worked with a writer on the manuscripts.

Kathy Griffin: Porn Star Stormy Daniels ‘Does Not and Will Not Lie,’ ‘Believe Her’
https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2024/05/07/kathy-griffin-porn-star-stormy-daniels-does-not-and-will-not-lie-believe-her/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=daily&utm_campaign=20240507

Left-wing comedian Kathy Griffin claimed on Tuesday that porn star Stormy Daniels “does not and will not lie,” and urged the public to “believe her.”

“Stormy does not and will not lie. Believe her,” Griffin wrote in response to a post by lawyer and Los Angeles Times columnist Harry Litman, who suggested that Daniels might say there was an “element of assault” involving former President Donald Trump.

“If it is Stormy, her testimony will sorely test Trump’s ability to comply w/ gag order,” Litman said. “Cdn’t be a more direct accusation of a longstanding lie, made more or less to his face from 30′ away.”

“Plus there are indications that she will say that the tryst had an element of assault,” Litman added.

As Breitbart News reported, President Trump cited some of his own fiercest critics on Tuesday to underscore the political nature of his criminal trial in Manhattan.

“NBC Today Show [said], ‘The challenge is that there is no smoking gun, no email, or tape to prove the president’s intent,'” the 45th president told reporters before entering the courtroom, where Daniels was expected to take the stand.

“That’s what they’re trying to get us on: the fact that we call a legal expense a legal expense,” Trump explained. “The legal expense that we paid was put down as a legal expense. There’s nothing else you could say.”

Griffin, for her part, has never concealed her contempt for Trump or the tens of thousands of people who support him across the country. And the feeling has always been mutual.

In March, protesters descended on the comedian’s show in Huntington, Long Island, to let her know just how they feel about her.

Notably, Griffin made world headlines in 2017 when she infamously posed with the severed head of Trump in a bloody photo shoot for artist and photographer Tyler Shields. Shortly after that, the On the Fritz actress’ career imploded.

Last year, Griffin said she has an extreme case of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that arose after her cancelation resulting from her infamous photo shoot.

In November, Griffin disclosed that she meows like a cat and moos like a cow during yoga in order to deal with her Trump-induced PTSD.

A Nevada man was shocked when he saw the price of this fast-food item
https://bluestatebluesnews.com/a-nevada-man-was-shocked-when-he-saw-the-price-of-this-fast-food-item/?utm_campaign=2151113059&utm_medium=ong&utm_source=bsbnl

The cost of everything is hitting an all-time high, whether it’s housing, vehicles, or food.

In some cases, the sticker shock of products and services is so obscene that it just has to be shared.

And a Nevada man was left in shock after he discovered the price of this popular fast-food item.

Man charged $39 for menu item at California Chipotle
An X user named Mike Alfred said he went to California recently to attend a Nuggets game.

While he was there, the Nevada resident decided to stop at the popular Mexican fast-food restaurant, Chipotle.

When he arrived, he got the shock of his life and decided to post about it on social media.

The X user wrote, “The same double steak bowl I get for $17 in Nevada is now $39 in California. The new minimum wage law is insane. Not even the rich will be able to afford to eat out anymore. Thank you, Gavin Newsom!”

According to recent data, the cost of “food away from home” like fast food or restaurant meals has risen at least 0.3 percent for 34 out of the last 36 months.

While that figure applies to food nationwide, the higher state minimum wage law in California that went into effect April 1 is causing fast-food chains there to raise their prices even higher.

The Wall Street Journal recently published an article entitled, “California Fast-Food Chains Are Now Serving Sticker Shock,” and Mr. Alfred’s account is proof that it’s true.

Once California required large fast-food chains to hike their minimum hourly pay to $20, most restaurants including fast-food and fast-casual restaurants have raised prices by approximately 10% overall.

This rise is widely outpacing other states according to an analysis of thousands of restaurants across a total of 70 large chains.

Popular hotspots like Domino’s, Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Burger King, and others have increased prices since September.

In an investor call, Chipotle said that the prices at its nearly 500 California restaurants rose between 6% and 7%.

That price rise occurred during the first week of April, resulting in a massive hike when compared to the same time last year.

California is making things tough for businesses
During a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Chipotle Chief Executive Brian Niccol said, “The state isn’t making it easy,” referring to California’s recent minimum wage hike.

And the X user who wrote about his encounter at the chain isn’t the only one who has experienced fast-food sticker shock.

Seth Amitin, a 39-year-old therapist, told the outlet that the typical meal he gets each week at the Chick-fil-A in Hollywood used to cost him $16, but now it costs him $20.

A spicy chicken sandwich at that same location was $6.29 and has now increased to $7.09 – a 13% hike since February.

Statewide, Chick-fil-A’s prices have increased approximately 10.6% on average during that time period.

Before the minimum wage increase, the prices at California restaurants already had some of the highest fast-food prices in the country.

According to market research firm Datassential, California fast-food and fast-casual restaurants have raised prices over a greater percentage of their menus compared with the rest of the country every month since October.

Stay tuned to Blue State Blues for any updates to this ongoing story.

Shelter dogs’ shocking role in the scary fight against the Biden border crisis will leave you stunned
May 7, 2024 Cat1, Politics

The Biden border crisis is pushing the overstretched Border Patrol to the brink.

Now they’re getting some backup in trying to keep the country safe.

And shelter dogs’ shocking role in the scary fight against the Biden border crisis will leave you stunned.

Shelter dogs may help clean up Joe Biden’s mess
President Joe Biden created the worst border crisis in American history after he began opening the border by unilaterally rolling back virtually every successful border security measure on his first day in office.

The Border Patrol is now being overwhelmed by record numbers of i*****l a***ns pouring across the southern – and even northern – border each and every day.

Agents are overworked and overwhelmed dealing with the chaos.

Now, a bipartisan push is underway in Congress to use shelter dogs to comfort Border Patrol agents.

Rep. Tony Gonzales (RINO-TX) – a ruling class RINO gun grabber who represents the largest stretch of the Texas-Mexico border – is trying to give shelter dogs a chance for a better life.

He introduced legislation that would create a pilot program at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to adopt dogs from animal shelters near the border and train them to be therapy animals.

It would supplement a program created last year by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) called the Canine Support Program.

The bill is named after Pearl, the first dog in the Canine Support Program.

“These men and women work long hours year-round and face enormous challenges head-on,” Gonzales said in a press release. “By improving access to canine therapy support, this legislation will give our law enforcement one more tool to improve mental health outcomes at CBP.”

The goal of the pilot program would be to place a therapy dog at every Border Patrol sector on the U.S.-Mexico border.

House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX), one of the bill cosponsors, told Fox News that during a trip to the border, he saw the enormous stress the Border Patrol is under.

“Every time I come down here, it gets worse; the lack of detention space, the human tragedy you see here; what the Border Patrol has to deal with every day, day in and day out, looking at these migrants that are pouring in; this sense of hopelessness, that it won’t stop,” McCaul said. “Profoundly, I worry about the mental health of our Border Patrol. The suicide rate is going up. They don’t have the proper resources.”

The Border Patrol has struggled to recruit new agents, putting greater strain on the existing workforce.

Air Marshals and other members of federal law enforcement have been sent to the southern border to help deal with the Biden border crisis.

Dogs are an essential tool for securing the border
The CBP has a specially trained Canine Unit based out of El Paso, Texas that uses dogs to track down i*****l a***ns and drug smugglers.

Dogs are also used at the ports of entry along the southern border to sniff out drugs hidden on vehicles trying to enter the United States.

Keeping America’s southern border secure is getting an assist from man’s best friend.

One country poised to become 'global superpower without even firing a shot'
U.S. veteran running for Congress sounds alarm on nation 'biding its time'
https://www.wnd.com/2024/05/one-country-poised-become-global-superpower-without-even-firing-shot/?utm_source=wnd-news-alerts.beehiiv.com&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=breaking-news-alert-5-7-2024-2

Increasingly, astute China analysts warn that the c*******t regime is watching America diminish its resources around the world, and predict it's only a matter of time before Beijing seriously capitalizes on this rapid trend in world-changing ways.

One of these "Paul Reveres" is Chris Coulombe, who in 2016 ended more than 15 years of military service, having been both an enlisted service member and officer in multiple branches of America's Armed Forces – Army, Navy and Marine Corps.

Chris Coulombe (Video screenshot)
Chris Coulombe

Wanting to continue serving his country, and endorsed by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Coulombe is the Republican candidate for a House seat in California's 2nd Congressional District.

In a recent X post, Coulombe shared a video in which he said, "China is attempting to create economic warfare on the United States." Noting that China is currently "biding its time, watching America's two most valuable resources – its military and the dollar – diminish," Coulombe's video tweet concluded dramatically: "When will the CCP directly challenge America's superpower status? Soon. Very soon."

Would you like to see Chris Coulombe elected to Congress?
Yes...98% (87 V**es)
No....2% (2 V**es)

WND spoke to Coulombe about his post.

China is making "a brilliant move" against the U.S., Coulombe told WND, though "it seems like most people sitting at home haven't noticed."

According to the GOP candidate, the mainstream media fails to report the increasingly evident t***h that "China is effectively using regional [military] conflicts as a way to take advantage of draining the U. S. economy."

Most recently, he noted, these conflicts include Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine, Hamas' attack on Israel and the Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.

Each involvement draws scarce American resources – especially Ukraine. And "the economic drain will impact the value of the dollar," Coulombe noted, adding: "It's quite clear that Russia, Iran and China are working together to ensure that the U.S. continues to spend large sums of money."

As far as the c*******t Chinese regime, Coulombe told WND: "It's a beautiful economic warfare play": While the U.S. continues to support multiple conflicts around the globe, "we're continuing to drive up the debt that drives the value of the dollar down." And as the value of the dollar declines on the global market, the Republican candidate warns that "China will position itself with a parallel currency, one that could be the c**p de grace for the United States."

"When enough countries around the world no longer want to use the U.S. dollar as a global reserve currency," he explained, "there will be a whole lot of dollars sitting on the market without demand." Should this scenario unfold, he expects the Chinese regime to "create a parallel economy in the world – arguably, to destroy the U.S. dollar."

"They'll become the global superpower without even firing a shot," he said. "With a Chinese-controlled currency, they basically remove the sphere of economic influence long maintained by the United States."
"We have watched the Congress formally position the U.S. as the financier of ever-growing regional conflicts ... conflicts we cannot easily extract ourselves from," he argued. "If a third conflict erupts after more funding is committed to Ukraine, Israel and the Red Sea, the U.S. will be financially obligated to help, placing us right where China wants us before they move on Taiwan."

Should this happen, he warned, "America will be in a four-front war."

Solutions that keep America first

According to Coulombe, Congress needs to help rein in the amounts of financial resources spent on foreign engagements, seek innovative ways to bolster the American economy, and protect the financial security of U.S. citizens.

"Americans and the world are looking for leadership and vision and they are not getting it today," he told WND, adding, "We cannot spend our way out of problems." With that, he pointed to the nation's staggering and growing $34 trillion debt.

As a member of Congress, one of Coulombe's many initiatives would include protecting the financial security of military veterans.

"This would include exempting all active duty and honorably discharged veterans from federal income tax for life on the first $182,000 of income," he explained.

Coulombe argued, "We do not need more government programs to fix failed government programs, [as] our veterans have served this country honorably for 248 years and without question, have earned the right to economic dignity in this republic."

"This [initiative]," Coulombe told WND, "will allow veterans to afford to be American and encourage them to engage in the economy, exactly where America needs them right now."

Another initiative of Coulombe's would be to suspend the federal income tax for all citizens for five years on the first $182,000 of income. "This will allow Americans to afford to be American and restimulate our overly burdened citizens," he explained. "Increased take-home pay will allow citizens to earn a living wage without increasing the burdens to overregulated small businesses" and result in "increased consumer spending, which will generate more jobs and decrease the number of Americans relying on government programs, ensuring those programs can help those who need it most."

"We need to unshackle the American economy," Coulombe concluded, "and that starts with unshackling Americans."

I agree with electing Coulombe and I also agree with putting Donald Trump in the White House.

A Poacher's Worst Nightmare Unfolds as K-9 Trots Into the Turkey Woods

By Jack Davis

When there’s a job that needs to be done, give it to a dog.

In Miami County, Kansas, a K-9 named Indy, with a bit of help from Game Warden Mitch Falls, busted turkey poachers on April 20.

“Indy was at it again Saturday evening! Just after 6pm, a landowner in Miami County reported turkeys being poached off his property in rural Miami County,” Kansas Wildlife & Parks — Game Wardens posted on Facebook.

Deputies from the Miami County Sheriff’s Office responded as well.

After finding the vehicle they wanted to stop, “Deputies and Warden Falls spoke with the two individuals at the scene and worked through a language barrier.”

“Two turkeys (one Tom and one Hen), three .22 rifles, and an air rifle were seized by Warden Falls. The shooter was arrested for multiple wildlife violations,” the post said.

When the humans were finished, Indy was not.

“After the scene was cleared and everyone had left, Indy started into an area search for any more evidence. Shortly after that, another suspect came out of the woods with his hands up. That suspect was also arrested and taken to jail,” the post said.

“Indy was sent back out to search and located another freshly dead hen turkey in the woods,” the post said.

“Essentially, some guys were driving down the road, they saw some turkeys, the passenger shot turkeys from the vehicle with a rifle,” Falls said, according to Outdoor Life.

Earlier in April, the black Labrador retriever and Falls investigated another out-of-season turkey hunt.

“Indy located several pieces of evidence, including this .410 wad used to harvest one of the turkeys. Kansas Game Warden K-9’s are trained and certified in locating evidence with burnt gun powder residue,” Kansas Wildlife & Parks — Game Wardens posted on Facebook.

Two suspected poachers were charged in that incident, according to Outdoor Life.

According to the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation since 1997, K-9 teams have participated in more than 7,500 cases involving poachers.

The K-9 teams find game, guns, and other evidence that can be used to secure convictions.

Poachers of endangered animals should be k**led and left for scavengers to give'm their last rites.

Dark Turn in Case of Missing American, Australian Tourists: Bodies Found Near Where They Disappeared

By George C. Upper III
May 4, 2024 at 9:46am
Three bodies have been found in Mexico near where three tourists had been reported missing, according to Reuters, which cited a local prosecutor’s office in the Mexican state of Baja California.

The bodies will undergo forensic testing to determine whether they are indeed those of Australian brothers Callum, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, and American Carter Rhoad, 30.

Authorities also reportedly found a burned-out white pickup truck that the New York Post said was “similar to the white Chevrolet Colorado pickup the men were driving” that had been shown on a missing persons poster.

Tents were also found abandoned in the same area.

Authorities were searching the area near the location of the bodies for additional evidence, according to a statement from the prosecutor’s office.

The three friends had been on a surfing vacation about 90 minutes south of the U.S. border near Ensenada, a popular tourist destination.

The men had been missing for about a week, having last been seen on April 27, Reuters said, but they had not officially been reported as missing for several days after that — on Wednesday, according to multiple outlets.

“On Thursday, state prosecutor Socorro Ibarra said that three people were being investigated in connection with the case,” the outlet reported. “Her office noted on Friday that arrest warrants have been obtained for the crime of forced disappearance.”

It was unclear whether the warrants were for the three individuals being investigated, or for others. It was also unclear whether the three mentioned were suspects or merely witnesses.

Is Mexico to dangerous to travel to?
Yes: 98% (1420 V**es)
No: 2% (23 V**es)

The three being investigated are citizens of Mexico, according to The U.K.’s Telegraph, one of whom had in her possession drugs as well as cellphone with an image of the three missing men as its wallpaper.

Reuters said that even though Baja California is considered “one of Mexico’s most violent states,” the area around Ensenada is generally considered safer.

The U.S. State Department in August issued a travel advisory listing six Mexican states under the category of “Do Not Travel To,” but Baja California is listed under the next category, “Reconsider Travel To,” because of the levels of “crime and kidnapping” in the state.

“We are aware of those reports and are closely monitoring the situation,” a State Department spokesperson told Reuters when asked about the three bodies found in Baja California.

The three men had made a number of social media posts during their trip, but those stopped on April 27, according to the Post. They were also scheduled to show up at an Airbnb that day, but never arrived.

“There is a lot of important information that we can’t make public,” Baja California’s chief prosecutor María Elena Andrade Ramírez said, according to the Post.

“Baja California has long been a hub of drug cartel activity,” The Telegraph reported Friday. “The state’s largest city, Tijuana, which is separated from San Diego by a wall, is notoriously violent. It also hosts raucous nightlife and offers cheap plastic surgery for Americans who often take a daytrip across the border.

“The drug gangs usually avoid targeting tourists, something that is not part of their lucrative core operations and would trigger repercussions from Washington,” the outlet added. “But Baja California is awash with guns bought north of the border and foreigners there can often fall prey to common crime.”
