The Last Kiss
Back on January 9th, a group of Illinois bikers were riding west on I-74 when they saw a girl about to jump off the Murray Baker Bridge.
George, their leader, a burly man of 53, gets off his Harley, walks through a group of gawkers, past the State Trooper who was trying to talk her down off the railing, and says, "Hey Baby.....whatcha doing' up there on that railing'?"
She says tearfully, "I'm going to commit suicide!!"
While he didn't want to appear 'sensitive', George also didn't want to miss this 'be-a-legend' opportunity either so he asked..."Well, before you jump, Honey-Babe...Why don't you give ole George here your best last kiss?"
So, with no hesitation, she leaned back over the railing and gave old George a long, deep, lingering kiss followed by another even better one.
When they breathlessly finished, George gets a big thumbs-up approval from his biker-buddies, the onlookers, and even the State Trooper, and says,
"Wow! That was the best kiss I have ever had, Honey! That's a real talent you're wasting, Sugar Shorts. You could be famous if you rode with me. Why the hell are you committing suicide?"
"My parents don't like me dressing up like a girl."
It's still unclear whether she jumped or was pushed

Aw c'mon darlin, where is your sense of humor. Surely you aren't dressing as a girl...as a joke...are you?
(Please don't get your knickers in an uproar...I am joking.)

Everyone has an opinion. I thought it was hilarious!

Sorry, it does have an element of humor...but for the 3,500 or so that kill themselves each year over bullying about their sexuality. I know you were not mocking these people or probably aware of how devastating jokes like this effect this community of young and vulnerable people. Just be aware now it is not funny,
On another thread an individual thought that cannibalism, the eating of Christians and Jews was very amusing. In fact they recommended a wine to accompany the meal. And that thread was not created as humor. This topic, the humor was apparent from the start.

Sorry, have not the faintest idea of what you are trying to say.

Good point. I can be touchy about certain topics and lose not only proper perspective but humor as well. Thank you.

That's what I was trying to say👍

It is a good point. Just because something is posited as a joke doesn't make it any less offensive though I didn't see the thread referenced.
