What that video does NOT show is what happened prior to the shooting. Why was it necessary to taze the victim? What did he do first to bring that on? Obviously he scuffled with the cop before he ran.

Now, shooting the guy in the back was indeed murder by today's standards but it wasn't long ago at all that cops were allowed to shoot people in the back who fled from them, it happened a lot, and the cops were never charged with a crime for it. You didn't run from cops if you didn't want to get shot dead, and that was that.

I have to ask, why would someone fight with a cop to the point of getting tazed and then run, over a broken tail light? That the cop shouldn't have shot the guy is a given, but there's more to this story than we're being told.

Maybe we start with "broken taillight"? It's the standard excuse to stop ANYONE, taught in the police acedemy! Some assure it by breaking the light lens with a "Nightstick" but most just lyify about it, (after all the judge ORDERS the jury to believe the cop, (and the hundreds of other cops who also claim to have been witnesses Too) Then "Tazing" Torture being SUPPOSEDLY BANNED, the Tazer is used for torturing, but always excused. Although Amnesty International has records of over 200 people killed "BY TAZER". (Of course it's illegal to tazer a cop) Running away? "If someone just tried to kill you, then you got the drop on him, IF HE RUNS IT SHOULD EXCUSE HIM FROM PUNISHMENT.....Until he can try again???? Think Rules of engagement for our soldiers in Afganistan? and all of our boys killed because the usurper betrayed them...Guantanamo?? Moldy, we could play tennis about this all day, you're ignoring the question of why the media hypes up 'white cop' shoots 'black guy' while completely ignoring the situation when reversed. The facts I suggested that you find, were to show me where blacks are shot by police more than whites at your ratio of 100 to 1. I asked that knowing it was impossible to find, because the stats are not calculated by race. Here are some statistics that are being roundly ignored by a media eager to push the lies that ooze out of Al Sharpton’s mouth on a daily basis: The real statistics show that cops kill whites at almost double the rate that they kill blacks.
Talks show host and columnist Larry Elder did some actual research (something the old media establishment avoids) and found that the claim that blacks are killed by cops more often than whites are killed is simply untrue. In fact, he found that the death by cop for blacks is down 75 percent since 1999.
So, not only is the “Hands Up” saying based on a lie, the entire, racbaiting movement against the police is based on a lie.

In 2012, according to the CDC, 140 blacks were killed by police. That same year 386 whites were killed by police. Over the 13-year period from 1999 to 2011, the CDC reports that 2,151 whites were killed by cops — and 1,130 blacks were killed by cops.
Police shootings, nationwide, are down dramatically from what they were 20 or 30 years ago. The CDC reported that in 1968, shootings by law enforcement — called “legal intervention” by the CDC — was the cause of death for 8.6 out of every million blacks. For whites the rate was was .9 deaths per million
By 2011, law enforcement shootings caused 2.74 deaths for every million blacks, and 1.28 deaths for every million whites. While the death-by-cop rate for whites has held pretty steady over these last 45 years, hovering just above or below the one-in-a-million level, the rate for blacks has fallen. In 1981, black deaths by cop stood at four in a million, but since 2000 has remained just above or below two in a million.
So what’s driving this notion that there is now an “epidemic” of white cops shooting blacks when in the last several decades the numbers of blacks killed by cops are down nearly 75 percent?
