How to stop Iran from getting a nuke.

Am I the only one who sees that the only way CONservatives think we can stop Iran from getting a bomb is sanctions until the country and the people who live there are utterly destroyed? Did the CONservatives try this with North Korea? Were they successful??????? Why are we using a completely unsuccessful strategy again?

SKOTT-we need harsh sanctions and they have to be agreed to by other countries in order to be successful. The alternative is to bomb their nuclear development sites out of existence. Obama wants a deal to cover his butt for two years so he can continue to coast without doing any heavy lifting. We need a real coalition of countries willing to participate in any action against Iran. It behooves Iran's neighbors to help us ensure that they do not get the bomb as the mullahs are fanatical enough to use it. Any agreement which they sign is not worth the paper it is printed on. They will cheat as they have done in the past and this so called negotiation is a charade. Good Luck America !!!

Funny that policy allowed Korea to get nukes under Bush. Also, the only country to ever nuke another was us.

Let me clarify my last statement. The only way we can stop Iran from getting a nuke, is to give them one. Drop it right on their country, like we did with Japan to end world war II.

Bomb the piss out of them! Send a couple nukes into their nuclear facilities and they won't be habitable again for several hundred years. We should have done the same thing with North Korea. Problem solved.

One of the reasons N Korea has never attacked the South is that sanctions have that country so poor they could not engage in a sustained conflict without Chinas aid. It would not be in Chinas best interests to allow a war at this time since we are Chinas biggest trading partner. Why fight a war with a country who has a leader (Obama) willing to take the country down for you?

By Job, I think he's on to something. They need to get Iran out of Iraq and the rest of the ME. They aren't there fighting terrorists, they're infiltrating and taking over everything they possibly can...IMHO that is.

Sanctions hurt only the poor.
Tehran will do as it desires.
Sanctions man nothing to this viper.
The leaders of Iran have other avenues to support
