Can u imagine when u do ur tax returns and u get the amount of what u made that year or even more? I can. The only way for that to happen is we get out of the negative and go positive. Now ur asking how can we get into the positive. Simple really, cut spending in half and keep taxes were they are until the debt gets past a certain point. Which at that point the taxes get lowered and this keeps going until we are out of the negative. Now the government would be getting the money from sales tax, and im all for a 1% income tax to boost the growth for a while. After we get say 100 billion saved up, throw 50 billion to other countries. Which they will have to pay back with interest. So that 50 billion turned into even more income for the country. Then say we reach 1 trillion saved up. Throw 500 billion to foreign countries and even more income for the country because of interest. So u could be making 20k a year and could be getting 20k+ on tax returns. What do you think?

Yes, while if we were lending instead of borrowing, we would able to do this very stably.

It's because we have, "Taxation without representation." That started a party in Boston, MA many years ago but they were all drinking tea vs. alcohol so it was pretty low key. Resulted in a revolution that has had quite an impact on the rest of the planet though. We really need to remove our Senators and Congresspeople en masse and start over.

I also believe that, but its also the party's too. Now we do have some good ones in there. But we need humble people in there. But if we can get rid of the debt and go positive, then give foreign some of that money with interest. Then comes the big problem, GREED! So we would need to have simple regulation that people cannot touch it without the peoples consent.

I agree, but how?
All three branches of government have become corrupt to some degree, that there are no longer any "checks and balance" in our system.
No one is accountable for they're actions anymore. At least there used to be a fall guy, now there's so much corruption and stone walling of investigations, people have become numb to it, complacent to tyrannical activities.
We need to go back to our state choosing the Senators, instead of uninformed and easily lied to populist, like back in the early 1900's.
It all starts w/ accountability.

Well we can make the accountability a reality, and its simple, NSA. We need a President give an executive order to the NSA stating, U are to cease all spying of the people and u are to spy on all personal of Congress, Supreme Court, and even me and make everything, besides military sensitive information, public. Then the Accountability is a successful. Then the up roar of all the politicians begin.

He was supposed to do that in 2008, no uproar though. Instead the NSA is in the process of constructing a monstrous facility in New Mexico (w/ our tax dollars)because they couldn't store enough information about us(so much for the "patriot act" being temporary).
The "freedom of information act" was supposed to make things public, but the white house has more or less exempted themselves from it.
The people have become a joke to this administration, and for good reason.

The people are waking up finally though. Plus the majority of the military personnel are just waiting and listening for the people to say, "We r done."

You might not be too far off there, even as we speak, our benevolent leaders are practicing drills in 11 states for civil unrest.
I wonder, if we did revolt, and started a new country out of the ashes, would we still be responcible for the old countries debt?
