Israel Not On Google Map??? What the Hell?

If you click on this link it will take you to a map of the Mideast, and while the outline of Israel is shown, Israel is the only nation not named on the map, nor is the city of Jerusalem.

When it first loads, for just a second, the name of Israel appears, but then it blinks out. You have to zoom out, then it shows. Hmm. Maybe I'm over-reacting, and the program just deletes font of a certain size at certain zoom levels.......

I do have a trust problem with Google, they clearly favor Liberal news over Conservative.

Seeing as it's late in the day and no one's likely to read this now anyway, might as well rant a little.... After the Israeli news media said it a week ago...It finally hit the general news that Obama's been funding people in Israel who are trying to get rid of Netanyahu. Our Muslime in Chief at work against our only ally in the whole frickin area. Geez. Obama's letting out all the stops now, so we may see something really violent erupt thataway before much longer. Man, this last year and 10 months is a real cliffhanger. Sure glad I live in a fairly remote area and shielded by mountains. The nearest Ground Zero is well away from here.

Last week Rush talked about changes Google was making in its search algorithms that would essentially shove everything farther to the left. Especially the hits you get when conducting a search. Don't know if the Google wienies are doing this with the maps. If anyone uses Google Earth, give that a shot, see what develops.

I don't know the source of the above URL with the disappearing Israel, but when I simply googled "Israel" and then clicked on the "maps" header it appeared correctly and permanently (see below). This sounds like some shit-stirring to me.

And upon further inspection the disappearing name seems to be just a fluke of zooming. Zoom in or out one level and Israel's name appears again. Zoom in super close and Jordan's name disappears.

There is no conspiracy. We might want to consider actual research before we jump to conclusions.

Your usual brilliance is still glimmering weakly as usual. How do you find the toilet handle? Do you wipe?

The source of "the above URL" is clearly written:
http://www.google.com/maps. You can't understand that the source is Google Maps? No kidding? Really?

Somehow, despite all our thinly-veiled self loathing and contempt for the world, you still manage to make me laugh from time to time. For that I think you Blacksheep.

Oh, very much likewise, you bet. I guess the difference is that you can't say what you think is funny, whereas there's no doubt what I found to laugh at.

No kidding why did this happen??? Israel should show as a country and this is not kind. Our beloved Israel should show and not be bleeped off. I looked and for a moment there then gone. Maybe we should switch engines as they seem to be traitors.
