Welcome to the jungle. Glad you have a thick skin, you will need it. There are a lot of thoughtful people here whose ideas are worth thinking about. There are also a number of trolls on both sides. The "progressive ones usually just put up Obama photos or signs from some protest march or socialist slogan. Many would be better off saying "I have nothing to add, I just want to be annoying"
