Cruz took an example from the paper of someone who was unemployed, and asserted, with absolutely no evidence, that he was a victim of Obamacare. It turns out that the guy was able to buy health care that he wouldn't have been able to afford without Obamacare. What am I missing?

Professor A question for you. I would imagine you spent 6 -10 years in school. If the government Had said to you we have to make education more affordable you will need to teach more Students and do it for less compensation. Tell me honestly what would you have done????

The last near shutdown , downgraded the credit rating of the US , forcing Treasury to raise the interest paid on it's 10 year treasury bonds costing the US $18 billion . It also caused losses in the Global Market of $1.6 Trillion worldwide .
The consequences are dangerous and unknown for another shutdown .The nations leading economists are warning against it , yet CONSERVA-KAZEES think they're gonna collapse the economy , hit a reset button , and come out the victors . Anyone ever hear of a Pyric Victory ?

Dont blame the Blame any one but Federal Reserve Tey print Money as if it were Toilet paper. Both Party are guily of doing Stupid things but we cant go on spending money we don't have and that is what the ACA is going to do.aside from inferior medical care

You are right!This Happened before. Everyone cries but the last time yes stock marked dropped 2000 points but what they don't tell you is it was way over inflated to begin with.

You miss the point , ACA IS LAW .THE ONLY THING that can be done about it is to REPEAL IT .
CRUZ lied , so what , that is typical; of both sides , and truth be told , no one knows the full implication until it goes into effect , as there are several human variables involved .You can not tell me absolutely that it will translate to inferior medical care , nor can you tell me that it will be a financial bust . Outside factors such as who will want to buy insurance , how will doctors react to the new rules ,what will insurance companies do to stay competitive ? YOU don't have those answers nor do I .
If you're right , then the American people will not stand for it , complain to their politicians and the process of getting 75% of State Legislatures to Repeal it will be successful .
But playing brinkmanship with the economy is foolish and stupid .
If bringing about an economic collapse is a notion being entertained by Tea party Conservatives , they should keep in mind that ALL the leading economists , who have no horse in this race are warning such a collapse will make the last one look like child's play .Unfortunately there are some like Bachmann who think the ensuing chaos will bring about The Second Coming , so LET'S DO IT !
