First the WH broadcasts our intentions and releases the timeline for a major military offensive to take back Mosul from ISIS and now it's like, never mind, we aren't ready....we'll give you even more time to prepare and recruit more scumbags, place more IED's to blow us up, get more weapons, and slaughter more people.

Just days ago, the generals were trumpeting plans to knock ISIS out of its most important stronghold in Iraq. Now, those plans are on indefinite hold.

The U.S. militarys goal to retake Iraqs second largest city from the self-proclaimed Islamic State has been pushed back several months at least, defense officials told The Daily Beast. Thats a major shift for the Pentagon, which recently announced that the first major ground offensive in the war against ISIS could come in the next few weeks.

They have gone in and wiped out entire villages for the most part trying to keep them intact to pillage the riches and make slaves out of the remaining non-combatant's. I would cover every major exit, any other way out it that makes you a sitting duck anyway, then I would send in the Air Force and drones until there was nothing left standing, then the Iraqi military could go in and mop up the stragglers.

Its more humane, teaching the rest to fear our retribution right off the bat, to sacrifice this one town and maybe stop all this dead in its tracts. How many trillions have we already spent dealing with this? They have pocketed themselves giving us a defined target. Annihilate them as an example, if it doesn't work we continue the war anyway, if we do it right, its over in 2-3 days and maybe the rest will think twice about denying freedom there.

I'll tell you what I wouldn't do. I wouldn't fly only 50 sorties a day. Clinton administration authorized 500 sorties a day against the Balkans for god's sake. They certainly weren't a threat to us. The first Bush ordered, correct that, let the Generals decide to have 2000 sorties a da. Looks to me the first thing needs done is fire the Commander in Chief if we are serious about defeating this group of pukes.

I agree that the ineptitude of racist socialists running what's left of this country is nothing short of astonishing. The only tiny saving grace in this whole, epic, debacle is that to flood the Middle East with Western armies would be exactly the outcome ISIS is working towards. This would, almost instantly, double or triple their military and financial strength. Islam MUST deal with Islam - - - - its followers must see the fruit of what is being perpetrated in the name of their theology. There are much smarter ways to wage this war, but the military componant should be by proxy.
