How about your son marrying a gay man? If you could handle that, It would be very difficult to consider you a homophobe or a bigot. However, I hear Dick Cheney has accepted a lesbian as wife or husband to his one of his daughters and It would be difficult not to realize he is a homophobe and a bigot.

I'm not sure what you wise crackers are trying to pull. You realize, I hope, that ten percent of the population is gay. If you don't see that percentage, its because many are in the closet. It is genetic! If you want your son or daughter to be doomed to a miserable, failing marriage, force them to marry the opposite sex. I've known too many who tried and failed. It never works. So if you want your son or daughter to be happy, and we do, don't we, then let them follow their hearts.

You are actually correct on some of your statements. Most studies have found that less than five percent are gay, but that doesn't detract from the validity of your core of your comments.

I think it is fair to say that not all who claim to be Muslim want a war with the rest of the world and just acknowledging that there are violent, mindless thugs among the Muslims does not equate with all muslims are mindless thugs. I think Obama is attempting to destroy the violent thugs who may or may not be Muslims is a good idea. Only head cases would want a war with all of Islam merely because some of them are a danger to us. Remember that we invaded Iraq because we were told that Iraq had weapons of mass destructon and were a clear and present danger to our well being and that turned out to be purely imaginary. It cost us many lives and much of our national treasure and most Americans don't want to do that again. Let's deal with the terrorists who are a danger to us, our security and our interests and not broaden the power of our real enemies by adding non enemies to their ranks. Don't get mad, get smart.

Bad guys are often found be doing bad things and good guys are often found to be doing good things. Some people who say they are Muslims do some very bad things and some Muslims do some very good things. Samo samo with Chirsitians in about the same proportions. Our president wants to keep the Chirstians of the world to avoid war with the Muslims of the world. Since nuclear bombs and the means to deliver them are in the hands of crazy Muslims and crazy Christians, it seems reasonable to focus our attention on the crazy Muslims and the crazy Christians and not all Muslims and all Christians. Lets let our reasoning control our emotions or humans will destroy all of us.
