True, Patriotic 'sovereign Citizens' could do it. In unity, there's strength...

Government overreach has been going on a lot longer than the Obama's administration. Bundy's problem started 20 years ago.

You are absolutely correct on both counts; however, this administration has exceeded any other administration's over-reach dramatically. Just wait till Eric Holder gets somehow approved for the Supreme Court. With this new female Atty. General and Holder on the Supreme Court, real justice will go on Vacation. We have some real tough times yet ahead.

Develop our local State Militias. Get rid of corporation or Admiralty law government and back to 'Common Law' government as outlined in the Bible. BUT, it will take a third political party to do so. IMO

Our Constitution was founded on the teachings of the Bible, and GOD's Holy word. Our Founders are turning over in their graves watching us, and our own government, trample this precious document. We have more laws than we need, but not the right leaders to properly utilize, defend and enforce them. Our problems start at home, get fanned into flames by a wayward society and misused by our leaders. GOD can't be happy with us!

I assume your comments lean toward the Tea Party. That makes 2 1/2 large parties, with the Socialists, Communists and several others thrown in. There seems to be no way to dilute the Liberal Parties in America, so forming other conservative parties will only dilute their own voting power. Why will conservatives vote against each other, while Liberals seem to join forces, regardless of official party loyalty. John Wayne said it best: "Sure, life is tough, but it's a whole lot tougher, if you're STUPID!"

This was an example of US Government "over-reach", as this entire administration seems to practice. Bundy was right, and risked his life to protect his own land. Shame on our government. We have less than two years left of this tyrannical administration, and hopefully, the new Congress can bridle the "Donkeys" in the White House before they trample all our fences.

I've dealt with some of these "sovereign citizens during my 31 years as a LEO. Most of them seem to have a skewed idea of their rights and the law. However stopping somebody for 4 miles over the speed limit and failing to use a turn signal seems like something I would only do if I was looking for a reason to stop somebody because they were suspicious; or I knew who they were, and was looking to find something illegal. He was definitely not a good person, but looks like they were hunting him too.

Totally agree. I had a friend in Utah stopped after about one-half mile for not having signaled a lane change. Stupid.

The problem was, he should have already been serving time. Why do you think deadbeats and people like this go to Florida. The state laws are extremely liberal. The police are the ones being handcuffed.

Liberal or lax?

You folks are doing what so often happens on this site--drifting away from the thread and going into another area. Stay focused on the thread thought.
