Even if you do not like Mark Levin you should hear... (
show quote)
I listen to Mark's entire show nearly every day. His knowledge of our nation's history is phenomenal. His commentaries on just our Constitution alone is like being enrolled in a graduate study of American history. Mark's work is scholarly, objective, and extremely well explained. From the history and backgrounds of our Founding Fathers, including their writings in the Federalist Papers, journals, correspondence, etc--their struggles and debates, their arguments and differences--to the framing of the Constitution, its signing, and ratification, Levin leaves no stone unturned to reveal the truth.
Even a cursory look at Levin's resume as a lawyer, author, and as AG Ed Meese's CoS reveals a remarkable background for what he has accomplished.
Only a flaming idiot could ignore all this and rubber stamp Mark Levin as a "steaming pile of abject propaganda" In just one week of listening to him, objectively, without bias, without preconceived or ill-conceived notions, any liberal would learn more about America and current events than he learned in a lifetime of leftist indoctrination.
I heard in its entirety, Mark's commentary on the "greatest threat" and everything he said was solidly backed up and sourced. And he pulled no punches on who is responsible, giving equal time to the profligate fools of both parties.
You are right, npp, the message is very real and immediate. The unfettered spending must not only be stopped dead in its tracks, it must be turned completely around, or as sure as the sun sets, this runaway train is headed for the cliff. One decade at the least, 25 years at the most. And, this is barring any other possible catastrophic event that could suddenly change the game in a heartbeat (such as a world war). More importantly, a fiscal collapse of the US economy could not possibly be an isolated event, it will, like the blast wave of a bomb, shake the entire world.
Some fools will say, this is all just paranoia speak, just doom and gloom bullshit, but there is a vast difference between vain imaginings and ideological ruminations and the stark blinding light of reality. There are those of us who can read the warnings and heed them and those among us who can't, or simply choose to ignore them.
I pray to God that a true American leader will emerge with the fortitude, the resolve, and the unwavering commitment to end this nightmare. Such leaders do not populate the fantasy world of utopian dreams.
