OBAMA NATION SUCKS

Congressmen: Obama Deserves Impeachment

January 25, 2015

(Daily Caller) – George Orwell said that “in a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” Republican congressman Brian Babin is new to Congress, and this dentist from Woodvine, Texas radiates a love for country while worrying for his grandchildren when he sees the sorry state of our federal government.

But Babin is unafraid to speak clearly, and Washington should listen to what he has to say.

When the Democrats crowed in December about getting “all they wanted from Republicans” in the Cromnibus, the newly elected Babin became increasingly skeptical of what House Republicans were doing.

On the opening day of the 114th Congress, Babin was one of the 25 who didn’t vote for John Boehner for Speaker, a vote he said “was not fun,” but which was facilitated by numerous, passionate calls from his district supporting his doubts.

Contradicting the notion of compromise with President Obama that most Republican leaders are currently espousing, this freshman says his Texas voters “unequivocally sent a message to stop Obama’s policies. Period.”

While Babin believes President Obama “deserves impeachment,” he can’t see Washington doing it. But the new Republican Senate can allow the 114th Congress to demonstrate the congressional “power of the purse” as given to it in the Constitution. The president “can no longer hide behind the skirts of Harry Reid,” he says.

As a veteran himself and a father of a decorated Navy SEAL, Babin thinks Obama is an “appeaser deluxe” as the Texan watches the decline of our military — as well as the nation’s stature. Beyond foreign policy failures and the erosion of our military, the “unchecked and unsecured border puts us at risk.”

Apart from the implications of open borders, Babin sees the harmful impact of federal leniency on amnesty and borders from his experience as a school board member, mayor and city councilman. He says, “we can’t afford to take everyone under our wing and lay this burden on the American taxpayer.”

To those business interests or Republicans obfuscating on immigration policy to appease or pander, Babin calls this a “dangerous precedent.” This will “set the precedent that the Congress has completely abdicated their responsibility,” he believes.

Babin thinks President Obama’s legacy will be one of vacillation and weakness, with American decline on his watch. “We do not have a Churchill in office here.”

On Obama’s most infamous achievement, Obamacare, Babin says he will do everything in his power to repeal it. Obamacare, he believes, “is not affordable and it is the gift that keeps on taking.”

On the emerging threats from the Islamic State, Obama should stand up for American interests. “I’m an old Golden Glover. I’m not saying I was a great fighter or anything, but you need to know how to defend yourself, and when people are intent upon your destruction, bullying you, it’s time to stand up for your people and hit back and hit back real hard.”

We don't need to impeach him, he should be tried for treason, for conspiring to do harm to our country, and aiding and abetting our enemies. and lesser crimes, ignoring the Constitution by writing his own rules, and not co-operating with Congress--- who we have chosen to represent us. So basically we are being taxed without representation.

There might be enough votes in the House to impeach provided Boehner let it come to a vote but there are not the two thirds votes needed in the Senate to convict.

It is time to reach across the isle and get some Demacrats to side with America and quit pandering to party politics. They may be Demacrats but there Oath of Office was to their constituents. If they won't do their job call them out publicly. Then file articles of impeachment every month. It will become public knowledge and the people will get the message that Obama is out of control and is breaking the laws of America.

That is the ideal, but reality says it will not happen.

Of course Obammy needs Impeachment! Obammy, makes Slick perverted Willie, look like a saint!

Daily roll call vote should prove that most of Congress wants to Impeach "Obammy", & the Senate would follow!

Each day King Obamuslim, does things "worthy" of impeachment, & Conservatives, & Independents, are "salivating" at the thought! How many acts of "treason", does Oba-scum, have to perform before all of America, agrees? Obama's bogus decisions, place America in harm's way, & "barry Hussein", is "OK, with that!.........

It may well be a tough job, but if it is not attempted it can't happen. These people currently sitting in the House of Representatives are supposed to be "representing " us. If what is currently going on in Congress is not brought to the publics attention it will only get worse. Americans or not afraid of the truth, but they must be given it to make real decisions.

The main problem here, is that "our representatives", think they are "prima-donna's,& stop listening to the people that elected them! I have written my Senators, & Congressmen, many times, & 'always" get a form response!

Here in Mich. being a state full of Libtards, they don't listen to most conservatives!

I know, I'm in Wyoming. I know my junior Senator very well personally. But even he is getting really full of himself. The senior Senator. Ran un apposed because the GOP didn't even entertain the thought of someone else running against an incumbent. Same thing with the Govenor. Most of the stae is upset with him, but the party backed him over truly conservative candidates.
So I am getting involved in the state GOP. If I can't have an effect on National Poltics I'll do it at the state level.

Ron and others:

Obama will do exactly what he wants for the next two years (at least!), he knows the Senate doesn't have the votes to convict, he also know the House Republicans have no balls, so why shouldn't he do as he likes, who's to stop him...

On top of that, 50% of the American people think he is doing a good job, so the rest of us have no voice in either House or Senate...

Someone just said there is little difference between the GOP hopefuls, I think that is true, over all the GOP will put a Moderate up for president, hoping against hope to draw some Black & Brown & Youth voters...

The Conservative Voters have no viable candidate nor a Party to represent us, and the truth be told probably not enough votes to elect a president anyway...

The Democrats have 50% of the voters going in, Black, Brown, Youth, Liberal Socialist, Communist, "guilty" Whites...

That leaves a fragmented Balance of voters... Don D. :?

BuckShot-Impeachment is a bad idea unless it is mandated by an overwhelming majority of Americans. The House would impeach Obama in a heart beat but they know the attempt would be futile because the republicans in the Senate do not have enough votes to convict him. It takes 67votes in the senate to achieve a majority. The republicans have 54 votes so they would need 13 democrat votes to convict. Without the possibility of conviction, impeachment would be a costly dog and pony show and Obama would feel even more emboldened. It appears that the democrats in congress are perfectly satisfied with what Obama is doing. Those are the ones who need to be replaced. Most of us here would like to see Obama run out of town but as long as democrats protect him it will not happen. Good Luck America !!!
