Austerity (as in decreased or no spending) is not the answer to economic recovery (Europe is currently discovering this). Without a healthy revenue stream--there ain't no nuttin!. Things would be a lot better if this economy was not being stopped or slowed down by not providing jobs that provides revenue that pays the benefits that we use to enjoy.

Lets look at what they do. Don't tax the rich any more when in the past when they were taxed higher we had a more stable growing economy. They won't give out job bills, they want to profit by taking away Soc. Sec....do you think profits would go back to S.S. and if Wall St. crashed that they would pay the difference in checks to the recipient? Cutting $40,000,000,000 from food.

They now have privatized prisons subsidized by the amount of prisoners, privatised schools (if you could afford them).

They turned down going after fraud in Medicare they just wanted to cut back benefits.

They want to get rid of unemployment insurance, minimum wage, pensions and vacations. How then does anyone buy a car, a house? No job security. 430 filibusters by Sen. Mitch McConnell.

One positive item is there wouldn't be any credit cards ... how would you get credit, how could you pay them?
