I know you want to blame the Black man for the sins of the white man, that is typical. Businessmen, go where cheap labor is, if they can get away with it, ask romney.
I have an idea you will probably find very novel: How about blaming the sins on whoever is guilty of them? Almost every slave in the US came from an area of West Central Africa. Almost every slave had already been enslaved by other blacks. While Arabs are the most guilty of enslaving blacks, in this particular area, most of the enslaving was done by other blacks. Between 1500 and 1800 AD, more than one million white Europeans were enslaved by Muslims, many of whom were black. At the time of the American Civil War, there were thousands of white slaves in Africa. The myth of the White European slaver has been done to death by people like you whose limited knowledge of history, combined with an innate narrow-mindedness, has perpetuated a completely skewed version of history.
Fact: There have been more white Europeans enslaved by black Muslim pirates, than black Africans physically enslaved by white Europeans.
Fact: Approximately 11 million black Africans were transported to the Western Hemisphere as slaves. Something like five percent of them were delivered to the US. The other 95% went to the Caribbean, Central and South America, and to Mexico.
Fact: Most black Africans were enslaved by Arabs, not evil white Europeans. Those that weren't were mostly enslaved by other blacks, in particular, the vast majority of the ones who were brought to the US.
Fact: Most of the slave traders were English and Dutch, very few were US flagged, and not one single slave ship was owned by a Southerner. That's right, every single US-flagged slave ship was owned by Northern interests.
Fact: During the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, slavery was practiced and accepted as a fact of life worldwide. Africa and Asia had huge slave populations that had nothing to do with white Europeans. Or does slavery only count if a white guy is the slave owner? As a matter of fact, according to the 1830 US census, there were 1,276 black slave owners in the US. About half of these were free blacks who "owned" a couple of family members to protect them. The rest were no different from white plantation owners. At least one free black owned more than 115 slaves.
Fact: At a time when slavery was accepted and practiced world wide, the evil white Europeans were the only people in the world doing anything to stop the practice.
Fact: European colonialism did far more good than harm in 18th and 19th century Africa, and US involvement in the practice was peripheral to the point of non-existent.
