If everyone were like you and believed everything a scientist says simply because they're a scientist, the earth would still be the center of the universe, doctors would still be "bleeding" people and objects heavier than air would not be able to fly. Scientists are always right......until someone proves them wrong, which is usually the case. That's why they call it "science". Maybe you should check the definition.

The 31 thousand refers to the Oregon petition project that turned out even more ridiculous than it at first seemed. Still the project found a gullible audience desperate enough to accept it ad credible

CO2 represents only 400 parts per million of the atmosphere. That is 0.04 percent, which according to real scientists cannot possibly create a greenhouse effect. Furthermore, CO2 is needed to sustain life on earth. Without it, all plants die -- and then we die. CO2 has been higher than it is now many times throughout earth's history, and has been shown to be a delayed effect of global warming rather than a cause. 31,000 scientists agree on those real facts. The gullible people are the ones suckering for Al Gore's alarmist story.

I hesitate to be critical since you mention so many fscts about the carbon cycle and are sort of correct. Its even true that co2 has been much higher in the past coinciding with much higher global temps and a much higher sea level. The diff in the ongoing case is the speed at which co2 levels are rising.

Tectonic plates move very slowly, moving a few feet in a millennium. But each step in the move can be violent causing earth quakes that destroy entire cities. Natural cycles of all sorts can be extremely slow, but with spurts that surprise. Temperatures have been cooling for seven years, resulting in ice jams in the arctic that trapped ships that navigated freely just a few years ago. The cooling will end and the warming will resume --- naturally.

Ever heard of Government Grants. They, the so-called scientist, would not exist if not for the fear of global Warming claimed by all of the 97% of environmental scientists fighting over the grant scraps. That plus all the environmental organizations shoveling money to them to keep the Hoax alive.
