So much for a "free exchange of ideas," huh? I hate to sound like an old fart, (I'm older than you) but it seems that when I was in school, there was at least lip service paid to that concept, and frequently it was actually practiced. I guess intellectual integrity is an idea whose time has come and gone. I'd probably fail those classes, I have a problem with keeping my mouth shut, especially around self righteous intellectuals who have zero real world experience, and try to make reality fit their theoretical constructs. You are like me, seeing these things from an entirely different viewpoint than, if you will pardon the expression, "Ivory Tower Theoreticians." Those of us who have BTDT have a little trouble with those who confuse pet theory with reality. This is, of course, their right, but not to try an impose some sort of intellectual despotism on people who may be, frankly, smarter and better informed. Thoughts?

way back in the fifties when I was still in school one of the communist leaders said "give us your child for five years and we will give you back a communist" we now they have them for thirteen to eighteen years!
