This is the trouble I have experienced with giving sources to many on the Right: if those sources disagree with their view, they will dismiss them out of hand as liberal plot. For a long time I went through the effort of using at least three fact-checking sites--and all were rejected as being part of the liberal, commie, One world Order conspiracy.

You do know that several of those fact checking sites are biased, right?

Of course he knows, that is why he is still a card-carrying lefty, liberal, progressive Dumbocrat.

Okay, here is a question: Would not the Right benefit enormously from debunking one of these, I must suppose, Left-biased sites. Can you find any such debunking? The rant goes they are biased and unreliable, yet they are not refuted. Why? What a strategic plus to the Right to disprove just one claim and thus make that site suspect but there is none. How can any sane and reasonable person insist on a bias that is misleading and not factual yet have nothing to support that view in the past decade? What a blow it would be to Liberals to have this support at least questioned but preferably eroded yet no evidence has been presented.

First, the article whitewashes the truth about Chick fil a, claiming they merely stood for traditional marriage. They contributed over 5 million dollars to anti-gay organizations, one of those considered a hate group by the Justice department. The author made those school officials who refused to support the Chick fil a sponsor to be against free speech and traditional marriage. Very misleading. There are four other reasons Chick fil a should have been disqualified, employee discrimination one of those.
As for stupid, what party does not have some truly star-spangled numbskulls. (How many states in America?) My money would be on Bachman to beat out Biden in this category or at best a photo-finish.

I have always been very happy that Chick fil a managed to win out over the gays and the liberals. Now that shows what I think about liberals. I am surely sorry that Bachman decided to leave as she just isn't as stupid as you liberals say she is.
I get a kick out of you talking about the family being against gays. I am also against them but don't have even 1 million to spend against them. The queers did almost win that one but too many people stood up for the anti-gay business.

By your absence of comment, fact-checking sites are sound but annoying to Right wing propaganda.
WOW! As a liberal progressive who often wonders how conservatives can be so stupid and willingly blind, I was shocked to read this title for a discussion. My complaint that conservatives can NOT read, much less write, and therefore can't have any well informed or well reasoned opinions was shaken. After all, this conservative "Patriot Update" had taken the time to actually write their well reasoned opinion down and even post it to a public website! Amazing, like watching a hyena walk on its hind legs.
So, I swallowed my disbelief and resolved to read this conservative rant, with an open mind, and see what grand argument they had conjured against liberals. (to be honest I often question some of my liberal friends for their irrational compassion and tolerance, especially of racist and bigoted conservatives)
After careful reading and examination, I found that the article was mostly an unjustified attack against liberals with a couple of unsupported claims about 'chick-fil-a' and 'redskins', completely unworthy of my time to read it. I feel sick just for wasting my time trying.
As a progressive liberal in California, I have often dreamed of an open debate against the best conservative minds, broadcast on TV, with the chance to deal with serious issues of philosophy; like the egalitarian ethics of America, or the tolerance of bigots like the KKK under the Constitution. I often wondered how I could defend my friend's crazy ideals about animal rights or emotional compassion for right-wing racists, without biting my tongue or being intellectually dishonest. But my fears are obviously overstated. I realized in the first paragraph of contradiction, that republican conservatives from this 'Patriot' group must be insane. For how else could they appeal to our logic and reason while at the same time implying that our human nature is somehow unavoidable.
Can conservatives and republicans be this moronically stupid? I tried the word ignorant, but it did not work because ignorance is just a lack of knowledge that can be cured through reading, listening to those who are more informed on the subject in question, discussing, debating, and keeping an open mind. Since conservatives are steadfastly opposed to reading, listening, discussing, and debating with an open mind, ignorance failed the test of applicability. So did illogical, unreasonable, fact-averse, and uninformed. Finally, I settled on the word insane because it conveys just the right meaning: a determination to continue doing the wrong things even when you know they are wrong simply because you want them to be right. Now that is stupid.
It's almost as if the conservative who wrote the opinion was in self-denial, unwilling or unwittingly admitting that they had no understanding of human nature as a rational animal, the only animal capable of ignoring its instincts. They must think that free-will is incompatible with their nature, because they live by their gut feeling, no mind to be found. It's sad to admit, but we can't communicate, much less reason, with such creatures, they must simply be eliminated as the rabid dogs they are. They are insane, and beyond our ability to save.

Yeah, I do have a question.....Why is the list so short? Is the bag not big enough?
These people are a parasitic scourge on America.
I have had a number of businesses in my life. I would not hire any one of them. They are too incompetent. So, why are they "running" our government?
On the right, we have plenty of problems with the leadership. On the left, it is an insane asylum.
My thinking is, in general, you go back to fundamentals to fix problems.
I have been a football coach and when i saw the guys' breaking down, we lost the games...Ok..Let's get back to fundamentals to right the ship.
Our.....OUR fundamentals as a nation is the Constitution. Follow the laws on the books.
THEY......they say, immigration is too big of a problem. OK..Start at the root. Get the border secured, identify who is here, deport who needs to be deported. A moratorium on immigration, deploy resources to the aforementioned issue, and, in five years, you will see a change. Make it difficult for people to come here illegally. Now, it is a gravy train. Employers must do E-Verify, no TIN's, Any exchange of money to foreign countries is taxed at 30 % from a non citizen. You can clean this mess up in five years and the economy will grow.
We know where the problem is coming from. And, it's not from Canada.

After dealing with liberals for several years, I've come to a conclusion. It's not that they don't know anything. It's just that they know so much that just ain't true.
In my view they are simply psychopaths. Psychopaths have no capability to grasp feeling of guilt, of sympathy, of empathy, of love. They can only copycat other's gentle emotions. They charm and con people with their acting ability. If they didn't have the ability to con others, we would have never had them in government.
Dictionary.com defines "psychopath" thusly:a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.
I'd LOVE to talk with someone who could convince me that all Democrats are NOT psychopaths.
You need to actually listen to Bachman and not let MSLSD tell you what she says. It was Obama who said "all 57 states." Get your head out of your butt.
