In watching this one many of you can learn how political conventions were once run and how people got the nominations. I have always preferred the old way to the present kind of establishment control and who decides who gets the nomination. I remember how much fun it was to watch those conventions in the days before we went to what we have now.
The Democrat convention of 1968 was a good one except that the city of Chicago was under siege by young left leaners. Conventions back then were places where nominations were made and party platforms were determined. The establishment people weren't so in control back then.
