well-it may or may not come as a surprise that they (the French) get more and better treatment(see WHO ratings)for about 1/2 of what we pay-and read the 'Dutton' book for an insightful look at different socialized medical programs--we here in America are getting the shaft (enema?) for medical care-it is a national scandal and embarrasment-and as an aside-those who decry Socialism the most-hmmm-could it be those who have the most to lose?---hint- it starts with a 'C'-and is spelled 'capitalist'-and hint number two-it just might be the 1% who are HOARDING most of the money!
