Did more people lose, or keep their insurance? Do you even know the real numbers? Did you lose yours?

How many people being lied to is OK per the liberal mind? If it is only 6 million, that's OK?

Meanwhile, I administer this stuff for the company that I manage - we are in NY State - our policy is the community rated policy from the most prominent insurer in this area. They are a non-profit - and write well over a million policies. Last year we got a notice that the policy we previously had was no longer in compliance with Obamacare (it did not pay, for example, birth control - and it did have caps ). So, our people and many like it didn't even realize that, de facto, they lost their previous policy. All the hoopla you heard about was from people who bought their policies direct - not through an employer.

In summation, the number of people who no longer could keep their policy was easily in the tens of millions - but then those numbers being lied to is small potatoes for the liberal elites.

Did you lose your policy, yes or no?
Please don't lie.

Let me say it again, the policy that our carrier previously had with us was no longer in compliance and therefore no longer renewable. Now, if that isn't clear enough for you, let me try again - we did not have the choice to renew - we had to purchase a different policy that had coverage we neither needed or wanted, but was required.

If that is still not enough, we lost the policy we had and needed to buy another.

So, your policy wasn't a real meat on the bones policy? Well if you get sick and use the new one, you can thank Obama. I will thank him that I don't have to carry you on my costs.

He didn't say it wasn't meat and bones.

He said it wasn't Obamacare compliant and he lost it because of Obamacare...

IOW - He was lied to by Obama and many other Democrats.

The difference is that he wasn't a stupid Gruber Democrat so he didn't believe it.

The Obama was not born in the USA statement came from the Hillary campaign. I agree, any time a Republican repeats what a Democrat said, they sound stupid.

Super Dave, there was a typical Republican claiming the Earth is only 6000 years old, and that Obama was not born in the U.S.
I'll keep my typical democrats, and you can stay with your typical Republican. We are the company we keep.

Yeah, it probably did not cover abortions and pumps for male genitals or hair restoration. It probably just covered real medical issues and not elective ones.

One thing that Democrats forget is that State laws did not go away with the PPACA so their laws governing changes to a policy not being renewable still exist. In many states, the only thing a policy can change and still be renewable is copays, deductibles and rates. If you add abortion coverage, you have to cancel and start over. And if I don't want abortion coverage, I still lose my policy.

And now I get flack from my current insurer because they think my past insurer should cover some of the medical expenses I am currently incurring.

Thank you, Democrats.

No, our policy was comprehensive and our employees were happy with it. It did not cover birth control, for example, and our employees were not looking for a policy that did cover birth control. There were other mandatory coverages that were added by Obamacare - and if you aren't aware of it, you are expressing opinions with no knowledge.

Perhaps you are grateful to the Obama's, the Pelosi's, the Reid's and yes, the Gruber's all deciding for you what coverage you must have, but many others of us feel totally capable of making such decisions for ourselves.

As to thanking Obama, I'll thank him when he leaves well enough alone. As to you paying for me, you have no idea what you're talking about - but in that, at least you are consistent

First you say that your policy is comprehensive and then you list what was not covered. Do you understand what the word "comprehensive" means?

I said no such thing - as a matter of fact Gruber made it very clear that is exactly what Obamacare was designed to do - and as I've been a General Manager in several businesses for the past 40 years, a lot of folks would be surprised to hear I don't understand business.

It has been happening in the private market for decades.
And that comment was based on what you said, which showed a lack of business understanding.
