I know I do not need to remind anyone here of the heroism and horror of this day 12 years ago. I simply felt the need to honor the innocent, who gave their lives unknowingly, and the heroes, that knowingly put themselves in harm's way to help strangers. We have a great country that is now torn by divisiveness and still wounded with fear. In their memory, so that they may not have died in vain, let us make sure the freedom that brought that terror upon us, the one grounded in "we the people," is more important than all our differences. Liberty and justice for all are the ideals at the heart of America. Let us unite under that flag and make that our primary focus. In God we trust.

You are at it again, rummy and I am very proud of these two posts.
I got chills on my arms reading your post! Amen and Amen~ Just last year I got to see the USS New York whose hull is made of 7.5 tons of steel from the twin towers. I got chills then to, being very sentimental.

Well said. I cannot help but compare this to the hateful, disrespectful, vitriolic drivel spouted by InYourFace. Let us indeed, honor the fallen. A moment of prayer, or reflection would not be amiss.
