I see another jealous American. Jealous of anyone making more than them. Got news for you genius the Democrats take as much money from unions, trial lawyers, and corporations as the Republicans ever thought of. Who sets the living wage? You. You have a problem with oil companies getting subsidies but I am sure you don't even know what that means. Those companies pay more in taxes than Obamas buddies company General Electric. Hell his advisor Al Sharpton owes millions. I personally don't believe in any corporate welfare. Illegal immigrants shouldn't be here period. That crap you people spew all the time about they do the dirty jobs Americans won't do is bull shit. If it isn't let the Americans do the job or starve. Alabama passed a tough immigration law and the Democrats and employers were whining that the jobs wouldn't be filled and guess what? There unemployment percentage dropped 2%. There are two Americas. The stupid and non-stupid. Where do you fit? You sound bought and paid for by the Democratic Party.

They then take their money and put into a foreign tax haven to avoid US taxes. Most congressmen are millionaires and almost all US senators are millionaires (both parties). They look out after their millionaire friends and the rest of us be dammed! There are two Americas all right, but not the way they are described above.

BOTH parties are guilty of selling themselves to the highest bidder. Neither party can claim a moral high ground here. Corporations have enjoyed RECORD profits since 2009 and have given RECORD amounts of ( tax deductible ) money to both parties and have enjoyed RECORD amounts of tax deductions and credits, making their tax liability virtually 0. So any claims of unfair tax rates for corporations is a RECORD load of bull crap.

If we eliminate the use of private funds for elections, all the rich folk will have billions more in their pockets every year, but then, they'll lose billions in tax deductions as well. The rich are going to whine no matter what.

Why did it take until 100 years after the Civil War, until 1964, to pass a Civil Rights Act? Because the Democratic Party would not take its boot off the neck of the black man until Martin Luther King made the black vote a political force. Dedicated to being in power above all else, the Democrats had to make a U-turn on their race policy in the 1960s and join the Republicans in passing the Civil Rights Act because they realized that after the black vote was counted, they were not going to win any more national elections without it.

But there was a problem. How was the Democratic Party going to overcome its deplorable record on race? It was the party of slavery, segregation, lynching, and the Klan.

What to do now? Get back in front of history with comprehensive rather than palliative welfare -- the Great Society. The Democratic Party would become the friend of the black community by giving it things it wasn’t asking for, but were hard to resist.

But there is a big problem with comprehensive welfare: it destroys the role of men in the community and this was disproportionately true of the black community. There is nothing worse than taking away a person’s mission in life, making that person unnecessary and thus unwanted. That is evil. And today we see the results of that evil.

But over the last 50 years, the Democratic Party wiped out the black family by wiping out the role of black men in order to stay in power. The black family had withstood 250 years of slavery and 100 years of Jim Crow, but was destroyed by 50 years of Liberalism. In 1960, the illegitimacy rate in the black community was 30%. Now it is 78%. And as Star Parker has pointed out, there is nothing unique about blacks. Whites are now where blacks were in 1960 and are on the same path.

What is the result of this devastation? There are now two Americas -- Welfare America and Enterprise America.

Enterprise America
Republican Party
Stay in school
Get by contributing
Selling:
identifying customer needs, making yourself and your product attractive to a customer
Achievement
Personal responsibility
Historic success – example of America to the world
Building wealth
Making personal and family history
Supporting a strong community

Welfare America
Democratic Party
School unimportant – drop out
Get by demanding
In your face:
intimidating those around you
Achievement is “privilege”
Society’s fault
Historic failure – socialist societies everywhere
Supported by builders of wealth
Drifting
No stake in community; gang as community

The Democratic Party is the party of Welfare America and the Republican Party is the part of Enterprise America. Enterprise America is that part of America that is hands-on in its affairs. That does not mean the top managers of big business, which either out of necessity or out of temperament, in many cases cozy up to Big Government. There is also the billionaire effect, where billionaires, unaware of the wellspring of their own success, do not preach what they practice and support Welfare America for reasons of social standing.

Both of these statements are pretty much correct. The black family has been destroyed by "The Great Society" welfare program. The Latino family is next. Yes both parties are to blame, the only way to correct the problem is to get into the machinery of both parties and take control of both parties and pull them both back to American ideals.
Get rid of the department of education, they have dumbed down the electorate foe the last forty years. Very few young people (black, white,or brown) know what the U.S. Was founded to be. It is the shining city on. The hill. Our youth need to be taught that, and not the socialist bull shit lies. That are the current fodder being taught in today's public schools. We NEED to get rid of this multiculturalism crap and start teaching the pride of being an American !
Teach the pledge of allegiance and the Lord's Prayer every morning to start the school day. that prescription has worked for my generation and the two before that.

Sorry Pal but the other America represented by this administration is that of the black community. It's also referred to as "black privilege".

I would love to see private and public money withdrawn from elections. Good luck with that. The treasury department took in more tax revenue last year than ever before. Who paid that? I know you are the smartest guy on here but why do corps keep there money off shore if there tax rates are virtually zero. Your premise makes no sense.

This is also true. The Republican party is no different than the Democrats.

People amaze me when they say there is no difference between the two major parties! It amazes me because it is so patently untrue and provable every time an argument ensues.
The ONLY similarity between the two parties' politicians is the love of power and status. The two parties' voters are as different as cats and dogs are different. The democrat party has brainwashed its members, the republican party is unable to brainwash its members, hence doesn't. The democrat party consists of sociopaths and very few republicans are sociopaths. Most republicans know how to be honest. NO democrat knows how to be honest. Most republicans grasp the knowledge of goodness and kindness - most democrats cannot grasp these inner feelings because they are sociopaths and do not easily interact with anyone BUT other sociopaths.

The ONLY way both parties are killing us is just what I mentioned above: both side's politicians worship power and money and will do almost anything to maintain it for themselves. And the WAY is HUGE GOVERNMENT. Without it, none of them would be interested in being politicians. That is what we should be dealing with, and only that!

You know the Democrats are beat when they say there is no difference between the two parties. It's there way of admitting they lost the debate.

I believe you are very much in harmony with the democrat mantra that has kept them in power for so many decades, a LIE, of course, but in power nevertheless.
Please, I ask of you to explain why ANYONE chooses to despise wealth yet is enamored of poverty. If one wants to obliterate poverty, one does NOT talk about social programs to help those in poverty. One champions ways of granting those in poverty to climb out of poverty, not tunnel their way in so deeply they can never escape. THAT is the difference in democrats and republicans (I use both terms cautiously).
Republicans do not want to pretend to help the poor. They want to ACTUALLY help the poor. Getting people on welfare is NOT helping them escape poverty - it ASSURES them perpetual poverty, which is what the Democrat Party
WANTS.......look at its goals, and you'll see I am right.

Your understanding of minimum wage mirrors exactly the democrat mantra. Minimum wage pulls NO ONE out of poverty - it GROWS the poverty ridden because it causes an increase in THE COST OF EVERYTHING, AND A DECREASE IN THE LABOR POOL. And when the cost of everything goes up, it goes up for the minimum wage earner - the overall effect is that economically everyone in the country is negatively affected by it.

When you cry about the political right being on the side of business, you are inadvertently praising them because to be on the side of businesses FAILING is just too gross to imagine. Every American should be on the side of business because without business, most in America would be at the poverty level. I wish you would just use your own brain instead of the DNC's excuse for a brain, and think this through. I am not perfect, and I make mistakes, but one thing I do NOT do, EVER, is lie. Your DNC lies to you every time it opens its collective mouth.

Most poor people work. But the cost of everything has increased by 300 to 400% while the companies they work for are making huge profits and not increasing their wages.

If you are right about minimum wage, then are you saying that not giving wage increases for the past ten years is helping to eliminate poverty? Why don't companies who make huge profits give wage increases? dem or Repug, tis all the same. Companies won't pay as long as they can get away with it.
