The low life's you mentioned are out for themselves. Your correct about them being just as guilty for Brown's death. The blacks listen to these bozo's and think the law doesn't include them. It's sad and so are the idiots you named. Good post, and true.

While i don't agree with Sharpton, a lot of my fellow Vets have died for his right to say it! Im not a Democrat nor a republican i take offense to anyone that think because i am a Afro American i can't think for myself and that every time a black child is killed by a white male im automatically going to riot and destroy my community!I was in the US ARMY for 13years and was very good at what I did i was a E7 Sfc (Sergeant first class) I left the military and became a paid coach for the county for the next 20 years coaching kids in the intercity ages 6-14, coaching basketball, football, track & field, took kids overnight camping, field trips and helped them with homework and during the summer i spent every weekday with them from 9am to 5pm! To make it short it would seem the only thing you really know about black people is what you see on tv!Actually as long as people like you keep complaining about something that maybe or maybe not racially motivated, people that make blanket assumptions like Sharpton remains relevant! Sorry you will never see stories about people like me in the news weather it's fox news or nbc news!

While i don't agree with Sharpton, a lot of my fel... (show quote)

Thank you, sir... for your military service, followed by your efforts to bring value and hope into areas where it is needed.

You are correct in stating that many have served and sacrificed so that ones like Sharpton have the right to say what they do. That being said, with privilege comes responsibility. Sharpton, and other leaders like him, are happy to stoke the fires, but are absent when the consequences emerge. While citizens like you are working hard to assist young, malleable minds to dedicate themselves to being educated and recognizing their self-worth, the Sharptons of the world are exploiting their fears and insecurities... and all for personal profit.

Where are the Sharptons when it comes to battling the out of control Black on Black violence? Any time an incident occurs that involves a white (or close to white) perpetrator on a black individual, it is painted as a racial incident. Had Brown been white and all of the other facts of the situation been the same... I cannot imagine that the result would have been different. Look at the incident in Utah two days later (Black cop killing a White kid - unarmed, and whose only crime was to have ear plugs in and didn't hear the command to kneel).

There is the proverbial admonition that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. It applies to Ferguson. The Brown incident may not have been the best platform, but it drew out long held beliefs of bias. Do you really think the wanton violence of the reaction, the destruction of property (primarily black owned) and rhetoric will motivate the larger community to work for reforms? Or did it just alienate many who would have been instrumental in working to correct the infrastructural problems?
