See, for example, race traitor, often used by White supremacists and of people in inter-racial relationships (cf. miscegenation).

At times, the term "traitor" has been used as a political epithet, regardless of any verifiable treasonable action. In a civil war or insurrection, the winners may deem the losers to be traitors. Likewise the term "traitor" is used in heated political discussion typically as a slur against political dissidents, or against officials in power who are perceived as failing to act in the best interest of their constituents. I think we should wait and see what the new Congress will do to cement our support in Jan. They know we are watching. My choice for President in 2016 is Rand Paul because he is small government,appeals to the younger voters and will be willing to work with both sides. The Republican party is divided now and has too many Karl Rove Rhinos trying to jump on board.
Sure there are other great candidates (Ted Cruz,Mike Pence, Risk Perry etc). But Rand Paul will get the youth vote and it is more important to get someone in there.

:thumbup: :thumbup: Agreed. We should vote incumbents out. But we also need a Great Charismatic leader who can rally the sleepy, sated Americans & Europeans. Where is the American Patriot to lead our people back to the values on which the United States was founded. We are no longer the "United" states. The people who live in Queens, NY speak over 200 languages & dialects. And the politicians are always saying "how proud" they are at our diversity. Well, our country became great as the "melting pot" not because of the "diversity pot." "A house divided against itself cannot stand." English as the official language would be a good start to get us back on track!
