Yes, it continues today, and it has become much worse under Obama. I thought it was all suppose to end when we got a black president? But, no he interjected his racial bias into several domestic situations, which only made it worse. Not to mention he brought out his own racist views.

I don't think it has been made worse under Obama, just because he spoke his truths that a lot of people didn't like. We can't fault him just because he truths aren't what we want to hear. As you admit racism continues but it has continued more silently than in the past, due to being politically correct where you can't say what your thinking out of fear of the unknown.

Well, lets see I spent 24 years in the USAF serving my country, START representative involved behind the scenes with the US and Russia for starters. Do I need to continue with you? No not really, I did my job for this country! And I am still doing it at another job.

In Genesis 10, the table of nations, the second son of Ham is the Patriarc to the worlds Black Populations: The Egyptians, Ethiopians, and Nubians. Ham is also the father of Cannanites, the various colored smaller (in height) peoples of the earth. They are also the ones that have different shaped eyes. That was due to Ham's incestuous rape of his mother, Noah's wife, not long after the Ark set down on Ararat. In Noah's anger, he cursed the child Cannan, the outcome of that rape. It is all in the Bible, clearly printed. Still, we are all equal in importance within the Human race, none the greater - none the lesser. For a Pres like Obama to split "We, the people" into segragations is only turning back pages of racist anger. Racist anger which is Obama's core person.

Thank You, I was not disagreeing with you, just mentioning that there is some dissension as to when something occurred, not if it happened. I suggested that Rhonda may have arrived at her black Egyptian statement because intermarriage on the upper Nile. These were not statements of facts, but statements of "what ifs." There is still disagreement as to the time of settlement in the Palestine area, also. I have heard estimates of the age of Jericho which range from 6000 to 9000 B.C., and estimates of settlement during Neolithic times which also have a couple of millenium of wiggle room. I am not an authority, nor have I made more than a cursory study, in the course of researching another topic.

Only if you usher in socialism into this country. He has a agenda that he is following and we are in the way. Obama is the worse President we ever had forced upon us, twice. It has nothing to do with his race or races, it is his agenda and inability to lead. I am retired military and I been around quite a bit with people of rank and status. This guy is a cancer that was placed into power not to unify but to separate and divide this country. As well as to start the socialistic agenda. There are many fine black individuals that could have been President, but why Obama? Little to no experience at anything other than a street organizer, less than a 2 year stint as Senator, just saying present when it was time to vote on issues, the list of facts is almost endless. We all have been duped into thinking this guy is the answer and he is not. He is trouble and there is a world full of it still coming our way! You better run for cover because it will be at your front door very soon! Mark my words friend!

Before Obama became president I (as well as many of my friends and associates) never even thought much about race. We worked with, and hired, blacks (along with hispanics, orientals, etc) based on their skill level, not their race. Then we get a black president, who I did not vote for (but not because of his color, but because he was a liberal democrat). Since that time the blacks have become emboldened and at every opportunity try and rub that 200+ year old slavery label down our throats, as well as any other perceived unfair happening in their lives! A label that I had nothing to do with!

All a black has to do, when they don't get what they want, is to pull out that race card, and everybody panics and cows down to them. Whether you realize it or not, the blacks in this country have more rights than we do. They have affirmative action, job preferential treatment due to anti-discrimination laws, and they have that race card.

Today, we have blacks just looking to get even with whitey over the Zimmerman trial, even though he was a hispanic. Like I've said before, my son is a 20 year veteran police officer, and he tells me that since that Zimmerman trial their stress level has increased tremendously. Just a month, or so, ago a carload of black gangbangers fired five shots at him for no reason at all - thank God they were lousy marksmen. The first time in 20 years he has been shot at. And, it has been happening to more officers on the force, than in the past. So, don't try and tell me that these feelings have been covert until we got a black president, because that dog doesn't hunt. If you want to call me a racist because of my current feelings, go ahead, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

blacks commit violent crimes against whites at 8 times the level whites do against blacks. and yet we outnumber them by a great margin. where does this get reported except in crime statistics? something is up.

You asked why we weren't talking about it. I say, because its politically incorrect to talk about both sides of the issue. Its OK to lambast white folks for anything and everything but not OK to do so with anyone else.
