**I was watching MSNBC and there was a piece about this school district that had some Tea Party types on their School Board. There was a certain textbook that was to be used during the school year. The book had some kind of reference to abortion in it. These fools got together and tore out all of the pages referencing that subject. So I guess when their children go out in the world and interact with other kids their age, one of the other kids will mention the word "abortion" in some context, and the TP's kid will respond with, "what's that?".....sigh.....i'm going to bed on that one...the right....even the way some of their members in here talk, they will drain the hell out of someone and "steal their thunder" if allowed....I look at the shit they say about black people as "chimps", "spooks" and all that bullschit and Obozo, Odumbo and Ovomit dumbazz references.....and just say to myself, "an education would be a real waste around these motherf-kers (not cursing literally Admin) waiting for them to actually engage without having some weird schit to say....ya'll are a different breed/species....for real**

public schools are nothing like they used to be when only facts about education mattered to make sure history does not repeat itself. what happens outside of the schoolroom (current events) should be viewed in schools by all avenues of discussion, not just one point of view (indoctrination) as it is done now. personally, if my kid came home and told me he or she mentioned abortion, i would ask how did you get that word? once i found out it came from a public school, that school would be turned into a crater and the principle would be hung by his neck in my front yard. are we one the same page here you piece of shit dic*head? p.s. you would be next.

I do not know about you and where you are from, but I can assure you that kids, in particular females, know more about sex and pregnancy than you knew at age 30. And it has nothing to do with what is taught in school. I know that my mother never had the talk with me....you know, birds, bees, and fleas. Anyway, sex education in school consisted of "that time of the month" and nothing more. When I married, and I was inexperienced, I did know about pregnancy, how to prevent it without killing a baby in the process, how to maintain myself, and exactly what to expect. How, well I learned by listening to those girls that was experienced. And they were not embarrassed talking about sex. And do you really think that this has changed?? If you do, then you have not talked to a teenager lately. I have, because I have a daughter who is a teen and I do not want her experimenting, relying on sex education in school, books, or from experienced older girls.

You do not like the tea party.... too bad. Because on many things they have the right idea. Perhaps their execution on plans is not the best, but their desires for our country is pure....and when it comes to their children, I would highly recommend that Liberals not interfere. It would be good if all you fine Liberals started raising your own children and leave the ones that will amount to something for their own parents to raise.

Knowing about abortion, the harm it causes...such as the remorse and depression, the scaring, the possibility for death of the mother.... at the appropriate age, should be discussed with young women. But, I think it would be best that discussion happens with her mother or her physician. It is not the responsibility of a school to teach abortion as birth control.

Thank you Mr(s) Jones.. I agree with you!!!

I can't believe someone had the nerve to comment on dumbing down anything by starting their post with "I was watching MSNBC".

You hit the nail right on the head. And look at the lack of substance in the replies to your post.

I couldn't agree with you more. I have no problem with schools teaching the important things, like the 3 R's, but educating our children about sex, abortion and a slew of other things they have no business teaching grade school kids has to stop. The one that really burns me up is teaching them to be good muslims and all about islam, when we can't even mention Christ in schools these days is simple going to far.

I do believe it is the parents responsibility to teach them about the facts of life and religion, not the schools. I also believe that parents really do need to teach their kids these things so they are taught right and at the right time.

This BS about queer for a day has REALLY got to stop. The schools have no business teaching that in any grade level. All they are doing is perverting our kids and confusing them no end. That is NOT a natural way of life and they have no business making our kids do what some schools are doing.

If my kids ever came home and told me about some of the things they are doing now days, they would get pulled out of that school so fast they wouldn't know what hit them. They seem to be more interested in teaching them to be good queers and muslims then teaching them to be a good engineer or whatever. When kids graduate and can't even read their own diploma, but know all about sex, then something is wrong and we need to do something about it.

You obviously were not paying attention during the last election. Everyone is sick and tired of you arrogant and ignorant holier then thou morons. Your liberal addiction to abortion, race and homophobia has been found wanting. Grow up and let's discuss issues that our gov't SHOULD be involved with.

And BTW, any sentence that begins "I was watching MSLSD" is a very telling beginning. MSLSD has been found, by the media itself surprisingly, to be the most dishonest, non-fact based channel of all. I'd leave that part out next time.

When he started out with 'I was watching MSNBC' he was telling everyone I don't like to think so I just let them tell me how it is. Mindless!

Yes girls do seem to know earlier about the various acts. I picked of our granddaughters tablets that are supposed to be used for school work. I decided to check out what she was looking up for school, didn't look like school work to me, X rated sights. X rated for 12 year olds? Didn't say a word to her but I did call her father, didn't believe me until he came to pick them up.

Now the damn Tea Party had nothing to with this, this was our school system that doesn't bother to check what students are doing at school. Better than 90% of what was looked up was time stamped during school hours. Needless to say some teaching habits have been modified.

This prompted them to check every tablet, better than 60% of all girls and over 30% of the boys had these sites. Now I ask, do you want you 11 or 12 year old learning about to to preform oral sex?
