Homosexuality is very similar to behavior disorders, in that there is no medication or therapy that can make it go away. That being said, it doesn't appear to harm anybody else. I see no reason to deny gays equal protection under the law.

You must live in the basement if I must enlighten you about the homosexuals attacking Christianity. Read the news! look at the lawsuits flying because Christian business owners want no part of homosexual weddings OR the Christian baker who didn't want to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding. They (homosexual activist) have sued dozens like these people I mentioned and many of them have been shut down! Thanks to some queers who couldn't take their business elsewhere once thriving businesses are now OUT OF BUSINESS!!

I remember many years ago, a restaurant owner refused to serve Black customers. The courts said that if a business is open to the public, it could not discriminate against anybody.This is pretty much the same thing as far as I can tell. In the first case it was the right to run your business vs, the right not to be discriminated against, In the second it is freedom of religion vs the right not to be discriminated against. In both cases the anti discrimination clause was deemed to be more important by the nine wise souls in Washington.

We are talking liberal gays here. There are conservative gays that actually have a grasp on reality. My daughter is gay, I love her and her partner, I don't agree with her choice in lifestyle, but I don't love her any less then if she was with a male partner. And hey, it eliminates the need for me to beat down an abusive boyfriend as I have had to do for one of my other "normal" daughters. Any way, I think the operative word here is liberal not gay. Liberals live in a fantasy world and believe that anyone who disagrees with them must hate them. A conservative is a lot more likely to agree to disagree then a liberal who would become your enemy should you disagree with them. I agree with Michael Savage who says, liberalism is a mental disease.

manawela, I disagree with you. I have been called an enemy by a conservative on this sight. I would never call a conservative my enemy no matter how much I disagreed with him. I don't believe I live in a fantasy world, but have real concerns about problems that conservatives may not.

Rick, I believe that I wrote of this once before on this topic. Many years ago, a restaurant owner refused service to Black people on the basis of race. The case went to court, and the nine wise souls in D.C. ruled that if a business is open to the public, the owner may not refuse service to anybody that walks through the door. While I am not a lawyer or legal scholar, it wouldn't surprise me if this was the legal decision that determined law suits brought about by gays.

I actually agree with you; But, let me qualify my earlier statement. I am absolutely sure, that there are a lot of liberal individuals who don't fit the mold I portrayed, but, the liberals that are most visible, the ones on the media every day who go after a Christian business owner to try and close them down or force them to do what their religion opposes even though there are a dozen other businesses to go to, the ones who want to shove gay marriage (I am not opposed to civil unions) down our throats even though every single vote in every single state was against it, the ones who try to portray god fearing Christians as something to fear when exactly the opposite is true but yet ignore Islam because they feel Christians are a common enemy, the ones who try to take god out of nation when it is exactly Christian tolerance that have allowed the gay movement to flourish. It's those liberals I speak of, and unfortunately, either Liberals who feel the opposite of the ones I speak of, don't speak out our are ignored by the media.

There is a subset of liberal which is "progressive" Included in that group are the LGBTQ groups which cause so much troble claiming their "rights" which are not rights at all but intentional disruptions of society and culture while they are aiming toward the "progressive" goal of collectivism. They should be the enemy of all those Americans who believe that the Constitution is not a piece of paper which has become null and void. Most Democrats that I know live their lives in a conservative fashion. They get married, have children, go to church, do not have fifty different sex partners over their lifetimes, work hard, educate their children, believe that there are such things as right and wrong, and treat other people with respect unless the other people indicate that they are not worthy of respect. In other words they live their lives much the same way as conservatives do, but they vote for Democrats, often because their parents and grandparents did, or because they believe that conservatives are all millionaires who do nothing to help anyone. I do not know a single conservative who fits the mold portrayed by the liberal media. On both sides are those who hate the other side, often for no reason. For many conservatives, the special rights and privileges demanded by a group of people whose behavior is considered unacceptable by most people. Those of us in that group honestly don't care what they do in the privacy of their own homes, as long as it doesn't involve children or require forcing others to do things against their will. We just are tired of the demands by a very small group of people who try to force us to redefine society, laws, customs and morals to bend to their demands. The small group of "conservatives" who believe that those who do not think as they think should be jailed or deported are just as unacceptable, as far as I am concerned, and I have met a few of those people.

There is no true comparison between race and a deviant lifestyle choice, regardless of the massive amounts of propaganda on the subject. And most black people are appalled at the comparison. And the fact that homosexuals claimed they would never do exactly what they are now doing speaks volumes. Homosexuals were actually outraged that anyone would suggest that they would even consider such a thing.
