I just want to thank Armageddun for inviting me here. I am a Christian but have been ashamed for my behavior lately. I have really been struggling and feel like I have been under spiritual attack for quite a while. I am talking to the Lord and he is helping me to listen. I am beginning to get some peace back. I know He loves me. NPP knows I struggle with drinking and have been recently along with taking some hydrocodone. I am doing better I think. I am not drinking now but have much on my mind and do not know if I will be on here anymore today. I do look forward to having fellowship with other Christians. God knows I really need this. I have not worked in a long time and get bored and depressed. Forgive me for starting out like this but I wanted to be honest with you all. I will be better soon with His help. See you soon and thank you Armageddun and everyone.

Hang in there Rufus, this is a good group of people here, be as opened and honest as you feel comfortable with. No one here will put you down, in fact it's quite the opposite, if you need prayer, or any help for that matter, just ask this group and they will do their best for you; good luck and God bless.

Welcome from NPP and Swmbo to tmcsea. this is by far the best place to be. We are all here for each other during the good times and the bad. Our friends here have helped us through some troubling times since we started on OPP and we will be forever grateful. So far we have pretty much kept the trolls off and we do party hearty as well as pray with the same spirit.

I am so glad you joined us. We all have had to do much repenting and seeking forgiveness; I still do every day.

The Lord delivered me from heavy drinking and smoking. I just told Him if He wanted me to quit He would have to be my strength.

Hang in there, sometimes we take one step forward and 10 steps backward. The important thing is not that we trip and fall, but that we get back up and start again.God does not bless quitters, but gives strength to those who are sincere. God Bless.

Rufus, we also have another site - Praying for America - through the Psalms of David. Every day a Psalm is posted, today was Psalm 101, we are well on our way to 150, please look in there as well and leave words of prayer for our nation. If you've met Aunti, she posts a hymn for the day & to compliment the Psalm. I post a prayer, but never think it is limited to my prayer, feel free to add yours as well. On Saturday I post prayer needs, so you know who to tap for that, any time.

Eternal Father, Maker of the heavens and earth; we praise and worship you for your love and mercy. Father, there are several on our prayer team that are going through trying times, testings, and trials.

We claim your promise in Isa. when you said your Word would not return to you empty and void but that it would accomplish what you sent it out to do. Please Father God, help all of us to be mindful of just how much you do care for and love your children.

The ground is level at the cross, there are no super Christians, we are all just sinners saved by grace. As much as we can we help our brothers and sisters here on the Prayer Team. But you Father can touch each life in a personal loving way.

Thank you for leading us to stay together for 400 pages. Thank you for the friendships and the fellowship we share through you guiding us to start this page. The fact that we have lasted so long proves that you are in our midst even though we are spread out from all corners of the compass.

Thank you Lord for the Psalm page, many powerful prayers have come to you through the reading of the scriptures.

We thank you for giving us a light, a beacon of hope for our nation to have the possibility of turning back to sanity and with your continued help may Christian values once again prevail.

Father you know best in all matters that pertain to each of our lives. You know our love for our friends and families lead us to pray for long life, health, salvation, every good thing that we can imagine. However you word says our thoughts are not your thoughts because your thoughts are higher than our thoughts.

Your ways are so much higher than our ways; so I pray that your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us the grace and wisdom to discern your will in all of our prayers.

Most importantly, remind our spirits that your way is the best way in the end. We love you and thank you for loving us.
